also, if this Friends game has just finished when I get back from a trip (which will be roughly August 1), you can pencil me in to run Space Jam if nobody has next dibs. I have no idea how the game will end up - it will probably be chaos - but it's Looney Toons and that was my goal

Personally, and you don't have to use this at all, but I'd combine "The Avenger" from DDN and my Batman from Batman Beyond. An "Arresting Vigilante" with some other powers scattered in, like watcher, tracker, investigator, protector....

Alright, there is just no way for me to complete my other game idea by the time this Friends one will be over. (I've got plans all weekend.)
So the Pro Wrestling Arena style game is off for now.
Since Grizz has put Toy Story on hold, I'll run Historical Figures next week, probably starting Monday.

I have a game in the works right now. Around 22 people and I'm thinking Mighty Ducks themed but it's up in the air currently.
Sopranos would be pretty sweet too. I'm open to suggestions...

Why was the mafia discussion closed? Other than one oddly specific post there wasn't anything major.

Historical figures can mean a lot. Can you get any more specific?

You guys will see. I'm going for a bit more humorous than hardcore real. There are a few characters/roles that should be quite entertaining if the person playing it does a good job.

BeerBaron's game appears to be American-centric, but it inspired me nonetheless, so I am currently drawing up plans for a world history game. It will be hard for me to even be sure that I will go through with it until I see how BB's game works out, but I love history and consequently would love to work with this theme.

I think a movie mash up game would be pretty cool. Could fill the game with quite a few badass roles, or even add a few new ones.

I started with a grander theme of just having anyone and everyone but had a better idea to make it have a more logical theme and two clear sides. Y'all will see.

On this note, something I've seen done elsewhere is simply creating a game full of characters that you like from anywhere. Basically do a "Grizz's All-Stars" game featuring Obi-Wan Kenobi, King K. Rool, and Michaelangelo, for example. That's the kind of game anyone can both run and play in as there is no real theme and its essentially a classic mafia game with cooler characters than simply "Doctor" or "Goon"

I'm in the VERY early stages of creating a game. I might not even run it until next NFL offseason depending on if we do games during the season. It is non-themed and is aimed at reducing two things most of us hate: role reveals and stating win conditions.

I've got an idea for that as well. I may ask you to be co-mod aka broth-up insurance.
