Given Seattle's needs and recent history, "Who should Seattle take at 12?" Is sort of a "Who's the best mid-first talent?" type of question.

I'd love to see Seattle take Kuechly and then grap a pass rusher (Perry) in the second. Or the other way around: Take Couples in the first and Lavonte David in the second (or trade up in the late first to get him). That defense could be very good and give their offense a chance.

With a new QB, a stud RB, a revamped OL, and an aggressive secondary; Seattle should either go WR, DL, or LB.
Considering that-
if WRs Floyd and Blackmon fell that far, it'd be an obvious choice.
Kendall Wright will get consideration.
DL, such as Coples, Ingram, and Cox will also be targets.
LB Luke Kuelchy would also be top of their list.

I don't want Kendall Wright. Doug Baldwin is better and does the same thing. Not to mention, Golden Tate might be poised for a breakout year in his third season with a new quarterback. I like DeCastro, Cox, Ingram and Floyd, in no particular order.

We got 4 pages of responses in this forum and would have been lucky to get 5 responses period in the team forum. For me the pick is a pivotal one with guys like DeCastro and Kuechly being closely watched by teams picking shortly thereafter.

i'd only add that they're down to one LB of any note, and not much at that, in K.J. Wright. My choice is pretty clear.

I think you have to go Kuechly. Get that field general for your defense for a decade, and a great talent to boot when your LB corps is abysmal. It's good value, too. Kuechly is a top 10 talent.
