For ***** sake, how are you guys still in day 1? Stop trying to 'deduce' every word that people say, and do what every other mafia game on the planet does, and just VOTE. Theres no goddamn evidence, and there never will be. Stop ruining mafia.

Sorry, but holy frustrating. Id lynch myself if i had to play in this sort of game.

Haha, that happened once in the potter game. I waited for like 8 hours for someone, then when I finally PMed them to tell them to send their damn action, theyre just like, "Oh, Im not using it."

Also, and I know IBC said something about this already, but this should go for all mafia games, we need to find a way to make day 1's less awful.

25 hours of pissing and moaning when no one really has any kind of firm evidence anyway is annoying. Maybe give someone a day power so there is at least a little bit of actual evidence floating around or something....idk.

This is how all first days ago. In every Mafia game that has ever been played on these boards. None of them have lasted THIS long, but I'm a firm supporter of the no "no lynch" thing in these games, at least on the first day.

I kinda did that last game... I had two lynchers attempt to lynch the other one. While it speeds things up on the first day there really is no information gleaned.

If it was still going at 4pm today I was going to throw another wrinkle into the fold in an attempt to get things moving.

And in all that I counted except for one, the person lynched on day 1 was good.

Another thing is that they defy normal storytelling conventions. Normally, in just about every story ever, the bad guys make the first move. That's how we know there's about to be a plot. If there aren't any bad guys doing anything, it's just business as usual.

Lynching on day 1 is like lynching for no apparent reason. Like going to a town hall meeting and just lynching someone because you didn't like their face or something.
