I love Cisse as much as anyone, but I still think he was a reach. I mean, I think he has the ability to score 25 goals next year and dominate the EPL and if he does that then he will go incredibly high in these, but he just doesn't have the track record yet in big games/competitions to go over guys like Eto'o and Tevez imo. Cisse was a reach for sure, but I still love hm as a player and he was sure to get snapped up earlier than expected because of the wonder goal.

Eto'o for me, with no real competitive games for him, with him on the downside of the career, id rather take cisse. Tevez for me is too much of a headcase. Cisse has shown to me over years in the bundesliga what he can do. with this season, im fairly confident in him

I didn't want to put the clock into action until everyone knew it was up.

Eh....Tevez, I guess if you count the headcase against him. I wonder if we are assuming mental fitness as well lol.....he doesn't really play out of control though.
Eto'o I just dont see it yet, he pumped in 21 goals and 9 assists in 2010-11 at Inter when they played him in the middle and it's not like he didn't score a bunch in Russia. I'm very confident he will be at PSG next year and probably lead Ligue One in scoring.
That said, all 3 players are great and I think they were the last strikers that are in that top class with a drop off coming now.

Tevez is one of the best strikers in the world when he's fit and playing. I don't really know why he dropped so far.

Higuain and looking at how he does in Germany Huntelaar are top strikers in my book.

If I hadnt taken Hulk Higuain was who I was going to go for, but Hulk is perfect for my system. There's better than Huntelaar out there though no question. I am actually very pleased with my team for a change in these things!

Depends on what you look for. Huntelaar is one of THE best finishers just like an Inzaghi who can't do anything but score goals.

Well if somebody hadn't stolen Arturo Vidal from me that could've happened...as is I couldn't wait any longer to get central midfield workhorse. With Toure and Vidal gone it came down to Ramires or another marathon man, who still hasn't been picked, for me.
All in all I'm pretty pleased with my team, reached a little for Mata but a playmaking wing who can play centrally as well was really tough to pass on, especially that early, when I was still unsure of what my primary formation would be.

I was gonna put Ramires on the wing actually. He's looked even better there to me since DiMatteo has taken over.
