I guess he also didn't show up for the Super Regional conference either. He's probably just a little shocked that he fell 1 to 8. But he is not off to a good start.

Just a douchey comment. I would not be surprised if he didn't sign and went back to Stanford for his Senior season now, unless he gets offered as much as the top 2 picks, which would basically be all of the Pirates budget.

Yeah, at this point, I expect him to go back and the Pirates to get the 9th pick next year. 5 more weeks, though.

Who knows though, maybe after he has some time to think everything over, and take it all in, he'll calm down and sign a bit of an overslot deal(slot is $2.9 mil), maybe something around $4 mil.

Yea, I doubt it as well, but who knows, maybe he'll realize it was his own fault and that he just takes what he can get and then make his money on a major league contract.

It's questionable if either can stay behind the plate long term. Both have enough bat to play a corner outfield spot though if they can't.

Yea, I thought that they, as a team with several early picks, would take a questionable sign with one and then a safer sign so they can transfer the safe sign money over.
