Looking through everyone, I realized my faction actually had everyone figured out. Obviously correct about jr, r4l, TBW and Shane, but FE and bantx were so blatant with their attempts to depose ATL, McGee had been revealed and BD would have revealed Forenci today, and I correctly guessed that Rufus was factioned as well. I'll take it.

Yep. We knew we had to gain the imperatorship at some point, so when people came out with really bad reasons as to why you should be ousted, it was obvious what they were trying to accomplish.

We were hoping that the factions were going to band together to some extent and take down ATL but after day two it looked like that wasnt going to happen... I mean hell the factions still had 10 votes up until the last day.

There really wasn't much choice but to try and push even the thinnest of reasons for ousting ATL. We knew he was a slave and it was clear no Faction would last with him in power. When Bantx had problems and couldn't get involved so I could stay out of it, there wasn't much choice.

I thought maybe they'd wise the **** up, myself. Especially when Shane brought up the nearly impossible job ahead of us. The only thing I didn't know was how ****** we were due to the combo of ATL's investigative power and Killswitch's recruitment.

The Huns were pretty much ****** in this regard, so I wasn't going to empower someone else. CMD's decision to oust me on day one ruined any chance I had to gain the position if ATL fell, CMD died that night, neither broth or snicho would ever be elected. Bulldogs would have some chance, but most likely if ATL was deposed, simply another trusted slave would have replaced him.

Basically, no matter how much I wanted the position, there was practically no way to maneuver a Hun into it after the first election, and I wasn't going to risk empowering another faction.

Fair enough. I do agree that getting anyone in would have been impossible since it would have been every team for itself. Everyone would have been exposed, and I'm curious to see if a role like that will exist in the next game.

D-Unit created a "busted" thread in the mafia forum a week before the game st arted. That squashed any chance the factions might band together as someone would say someone cheated. It certainly wasn't like I didn't think of that.

The other factions could have easily banded together via the gamethread. Make ATL go into the arena via voting.

Thats true I guess... Sadly we went into the game thinking that the Slaves were underpowered. What we failed to realize is that the Imperator was incredibly overpowered and that is what ruined the game. Among some other things that we are going to be changing in the up coming game.

That was actually my next crack during the next day, asking all the faction members to vote for ATL to go into the Arena. I doubt it would have worked.

Ya, best thing to do when making a game is think:

"What if this character dies Day 1?"

"What if this character gets this position, this item, this _____, etc"

Meh, I had no clue what I was doing in this game honestly. It almost worked though! All the factions should have voted for you day 1 and all hell could have been broken loose in this game.
