I don't understand. The first half of that says the Olympics doesn't matter, but the second half says if Brazil don't win it they won't win the world cup

Well, this Brazil team is ******* loaded and could be damn close to the actual team they trot out there in 2014. For Spain, that wasn't the case at all.

I watch pretty much all Olympic sports but I don't think I can get into field hockey. Maybe it's because I don't really like ice hockey. The only thing I've enjoyed so far is the US team has a pretty cute brunette.

Well, firstly, it'll be in two years time, so this Brazil team will have a lot more time to work together and get better. A lot of them are still very young. And then the Olympics can't be compared to a world cup. I'm sure they could step their game up if these games actually meant something.

Aside from both teams holding a stick of some sort (that look nothing alike), there is absolutely nothing similar about ice and field hockey.

How will they have all this time when they don't even have to deal with qualifications? A few friendlies & the Confederation Cup won't be enough unless some of their players go abroad.

Just by playing football for the next 2 years is going to make them more experienced and better players. Neymar is only 20 for example. In 2 years time he could be significantly better. The same with Oscar, who just joined Chelsea. And the same for most of their team. I just think it's early to be saying what Brazil will be like in 2014, when most of their team is young and inexperienced.

I'm still a little miffed that team USA men's soccer didn't qualify. It'd give me one more thing to watch.

I still think Ping Pong at the Olympics is just a clever rouse involving CGI and Dave Coulier making sound effects.

Gtdamn Salvadorians. Even my old man was like "Damn, this is probably one of the very few times I wish El Salvador hadn't won and they go and kick USA out" haha

Lochte wasn't a strong enough anchor. Adrian, Phelps, and Cullen all had great legs.

Lochte epic failed twice as an anchor today. Maybe you should have gotten some rest last night instead of doing all that celebrating.
