Hunter is so awful. Tuck ran right around him one play. I don't even think Hunter got a hand on him. It's mind boggling that he's a starter in this league. You're right, Austin Howard should be given a chance.

So apparently the Chiefs defense decided not to show up today. Interesting strategy, lets see if it works out for them..

4 Things on the Jets from a Jets fan:
1) Wayne Hunter is absolute ******* garbage...don't wanna hear any defense on how this man is NOT the worst starting right tackle in the league
2) Outside of a silly miscommunication and a throw he clearly forced....Sanchez was not THAT bad given what he had to work with. He was basically playing with the 3rd WR(Hill, rookie) and the 5th WR(Turner). No Holmes, Schillens or Kerley and add that Hunter is god awful and that's rough to ask vs a great defense. I expect people to push the panic button of course though.
3) The Jets D was great....Kenrick Ellis was THE standout that entire half for me. Excellent run stopping. The defense did all it really could since the offense just blew the load.
4) Such silly penalties.....led by McKnight's silly 15 yder. Special teams once again was terrible.
Altogether, a less than aspiring half.

Seahawks white jerseys look so much better than the blues. No green triangle on the shoulder...

My take on this:
1) Obviously agree.
2) Sanchez was okay. The pick was terrible. At points he looked alright, but there were also plays on third down where he refused to push the ball downfield. Held the ball too long also. His supporting cast is terrible and hopefully he improves this year but things will never work for him if he doesn't throw the ball downfield. I'm not going to jump ship on him but I don't really have much faith either, not rushing to judgement either way.
3) The defense was okay, should have been good enough to hold the lead. Got pressure but didn't get many sacks which was standard and Eli hangs in the pocket okay. Thought they were pretty poor on third downs though. Ellis was very good, impressed by him. Think if Pouha isn't guaranteed next year they may just move on from him and let Ellis start especially given their cap situation will be terrible. Looked good last year when he played, has looked good this year although it's just preseason. I think he's going to be a solid player player.
4) Agree with this as well.

The guy was no good as a backup in Seattle, I was surprised he got even a backup job somewhere else, but a starter? that's just ridiculous.

Let's hope the Jacobs injury is minor. He's been looking really good. Bummer.

He was alright coming in for Woody in 2010 for a few games late but then he embarrassed himself after all of that.
Also yeah Sanchez was holding onto the ball long Derza....but that's because the WR's could get zero separation. That was the main problem and why Sanchez kept going to the checkdown targets for little gains.

Silly Tebow, you don't have change of direction skills.
Also Rex looks good with the weight loss. Good for him.

I know and have heard he's terrible but Hunter gets pushed around like a little ***** out on that field. I know JPP/Tuck do that to many but I saw this all of last year and he's learned absolutely nothing. He's full of ****, said he will be much better coming this year and the most improved player on the team.
Mario Williams and Mark Anderson will buttfuck this piece of **** tackle Week 1. I just know it.

That is one way to look at it. Another is that Jason Smith is garbage.

You should be lucky that it's JPP and Tuck doing that. We had no name scrubs beating Richardson off the edge when he was in KC. I'm so glad he's gone.
