I couldnt agree more. It pisses me off, how is a defender going to do anything about that?

From the perspective that the guy who gets lower usually wins the contact so yeah you get low but dont enforce penalties on players who are doing their job.

yup. and on a play that happens that fast, you go from putting your facemask right into a guys numbers to bumping foreheads. there's no way to alter anything as a defender. guy's pulling a kenoy kennedy? fine. i still don't like it, but whatever, i get the safety argument. two guys hitting heads like reed/branch just did? ugh.

It bothered me when they first enforced it and it does now. These are the top athletes in the sport, playing at ridiculous speeds. For christ sake I just don't understand how they are expected to avoid it.

O'brian was such an awesome coordinator for us. He was so balanced and called plays that made sense. Mcdaniels keeps our best stud (potentially?) running back out and continues to run the same damn draw plays that get us nowehere over and over again to kill drives.
