Yea Jay Gruden would have ran it on 1st and 2nd down and then throw a little pass.

Is it possible for a QB to play bad and fans of that team to not blame the offensive coordinator? :/

Did you watch that last possession for the Bengals? At there own 10 with 5 mins left. Run on 1st, Run on 2nd, Let 2 mins tick off the clock then throw up a pass to AJ Green and hope he makes a great catch. That is all on Gruden. Dalton does not call his own plays.

Yes. Christian Ponder played terrible today and I put none of that on Bill Musgrave. Ponder made some terrible decisions that thankfully didn't cost the Vikings, and Musgrave went with what worked well in running Peterson.

Weren't you complaining about how much the offense was missing Philbin during Rodgers' "off" weeks?
Or was that some other Packer fan

Mike Tomlin outcoached Marvin Lewis like he was the redheaded stepchild of the division...no part of that sentence seems right.

Sure. Jay Cutler played like **** his first year with the Bears and I blamed the receivers and offensive line.

As bad as he has been all year it's going to take more than one great game in which he got tons of safety help for me to say much positive about him.

It is Marvin Lewis. What do you expect. Any where else he would have been let go or fired by now, but since Mike Brown knows Marvin Lewis will be his puppet he keeps him around.

I don't get this... what is he a puppet for? I was always under the impression that Mike Brown kept Lewis around because he wins just enough games to keep this city interested (though the last 2-3 years we've had trouble selling out, so maybe my theory is wrong).

He keeps Lewis around because Lewis is relatively cheap for a long term coach, and Brown likes cheap.

That's what I mean. He's cheap, and wins enough so that the city will keep watching.

It is nice to see a fan base content with have a winning season every couple of years. Then losing in the playoffs.

Well, if you try not going to games, he enforces the strictest possible blackout rule so you can't watch on TV. That's what you get with the world's biggest asshole of an owner.

Unfortunately you don't have to actually have a winning team to be a successful NFL owner and make money. One thing I really hate is cheap ass owners. Or rather, owners who are content with mediocrity.

Antonio Cromartie has been killing it for the past three weeks. I don't think it's a question anymore he's a top 5 corner at this point.

Not this week, but something i noticed. Next week, the Pats-Rams game is at 5PM EST. I know the game is in London, but why so late? London is 6 hours ahead so the game will start at 11PM local time....the London games usually start at 1PM EST. Just found that weird.

That makes more sense, but for some reason nfl.com lists it at 5 which is weird.
