Interesting play there. Overload blitz with man zero (no safety) behind it. Jenkins has No. 2 (from the sideline) and the CB has No. 1. On a switch route combo (which I THINK it was) in off man2man coverage, the CB should also switch with the S when the two receivers change their phase from one antoher . That's why Spags yelled at the CB and crossed his hands. Jenkins did the right thing but it was too late because Robinson followed No. 1 incorrectly.

And the playcall was PERFECT against that overload... bootleg away from the blitz, throw against a tough m2m situation on a m2m-beating route combo.

Against a zone or defensive RIGHT pressure, that play would've looked like all the others - a mess.

And you can blame SPAGS for that one - not the players. Why is he blitzing to the defesnive left against a lefty QB on the boundary side? Dumb.

And THAT'S not gonna get any better as Ryans gets older. There's why the Texans did that move. Their LBs need to be able to play the pass because their DL can handle the running game and put even smaller LBs in easy run-fit situations.
