http://www.nfl.com/photoessays/0ap10...otball#photo=1
Bucky Brooks is an ex scout for the NFL and is a writer on NFL.com and an analyst on NFL Network.
The 4 players he dropped off his mid-season were Sam Montgomery DE, Barrett Jones OC/OG, Robert Woods WR, and Justin Hunter WR.

Not a big fan of Brooks. or anyone else on the network not named Mayock. but the list is pretty good actually. The lack of QBs anywhere near the top is pretty telling.
I'd probably have Tyler Eifert in the middle of that group somewhere.

While not high on his list, the things he says about Geno Smith are glowing.
And I agree that I mostly only listen to Mike Mayock when it comes to the NFLN, but I'm a big fan of Charles Davis as well.

Obviously a typo. Comments call him an offensive lineman. Bucky is pretty decent and that's a solid list.

I actually found myself liking a lot of the list until I got towards the top. Massive overrating of Hankins, Moore, and Jones.

Please tell me how a LB (Jones) who has 28 sacks in the SEC is overrated? And a player who's played LB in a 3/4 and DE in a 4/3 ( Moore) who had over 13 sacks each year overrated?
Who do you have in front of them?

He saw him in person against Texas I think it was and he played very well. Obviously he didn't play as well down the stretch, think he was #1 on his board at one point.
Not sure about John Jenkins that high - early on he was playing very well, but late season there was no explosion and just looked like an old school two down space eater. Also not sure about Eric Fisher - can he hold up against top speed off the edge? Hoping he gets/accepts a Senior Bowl invite...
As for Mayock - he was the best, but he's been a victim of his own success. Now he's doing NFL Network games, that's his focus in season - so come Shrine Game/Senior Bowl he's way behind with the Draft stuff. Thought last year that many opinions were based on what scouts had told him and while that has some value, I always prefer people who watch a ton of film and form their own opinions. He did catch up in March/April, but I'd rather see Bucky Brooks work the Senior Bowl as he's been concentrating on the Draft throughout the season as evidenced on his Draft Tracker podcast.

Yeah, some of the guys at the beginning and end need to be flip-flopped.

Sheldon Richardson and Bjoern Werner need to be way up that list. Also don't love Jones that high

Jones lacks a pass rushing repertoire (in addition to not being long or overly strong). Beats up on slow footed tackles.
Moore can bend, but lacks explosiveness.
They're both first round caliber players. They are not top 3 prospects.
