Shane sent me a board, but asked me to text him instead if he was up after 7:00 PM. I texted him around then letting him know he'd be on soon, but he never got back. I'm going to go ahead with his pick since it's been a while.

I was wondering how long Eifert would last, although surprised that he still hasn't drafted/traded for a receiver, considering how bad they are in that area.

In the short term, next year, Montgomery may not serve much of a role, but Allen and Robinson both become free agents following the next season and the value was too good to pass up.

I think I'm going to stop the clock a few minutes early tonight since I have a few things to do, so we'll give Hines until tomorrow to make his pick if necessary. We should be able to get into the third round tomorrow.

Hasn't Everson Griffen been coming along nicely? You'd have to assue the Vikings sign at least one of Allen and Robinson. And there's probably a few pass rushers available I would've taken ahead of him.

New England is interested in trade offers from teams looking to move either up or down.

Tony Jefferson is the best safety in this class. Yeah I said it.

It's certainly possible. My main concern with him is that he claims to be more comfortable in the box rather than playing deep as a center fielder, although his frame more closely resembles that of a free safety rather than a strong safety. I like the value there regardless, though.

Griffen has been playing well, especially inside on 3rd down. In a division where you face Aaron Rodgers, Matthew Stafford and Jay Cutler you need to have pass rushers and following the next season who knows if Minnesota will sign Allen, Robison or both but if they draft a defensive end, it at least gives them flexibility to make a decision on a cheaper option.

If anyone is looking to sneak back into Round 2, the Falcons are willing to trade.
