Just curious, but why do you feel the first trade is slanted enough to veto?
Here's how I see it:
Beltre has been an excellent player in the past, but he's ~35 yrs old and his power has been declining each year he's been in Texas. Desmond has always had poor plate discipline but this year it's reaching a new level of bad. The lack of contact is concerning. Ryu is better than Pineda, but I don't think it's a huge
difference (at least as far as fantasy is concerned).
Healthy Uribe probably won't continue putting up his current numbers, but he probably won't be terrible either (I doubt he's much worse than Desmond form here on out). Puig is the only player in that deal who is performing at an elite level and he appears to be pretty legit.
If both Beltre and Desmond bounce back in a big way, Team A comes out great; but that's a pretty significant IF.
