Let's Make Some Wagers
The game will go like this. You have 10,000 points. You can wager them however you like predicting the top 10 picks of the draft. You keep the points you wagered on a correct pick. In the case of trades, the wager will not be for the slot, but rather on the player one of these ten teams chooses first. For example, if you wagered that Arizona will take Matt Barkley and they trade down and get him at #12, you get the points.
1. Kansas City:
2. Jacksonville:
3. Oakland:
4. Philadelphia:
5. Detroit:
6. Cleveland:
7. Arizona:
8. Buffalo:
9. New York Jets:
10. Tennessee:
Highest score possible is 10,000. For some of you, that might just mean putting 10,000 points on Geno Smith going to Kansas City. But in general I figure that allows you to wager your points according to how confident you are that a team will draft a player. Remember - it's early. Wagers won't count if they come in after the combine - that's what makes this fun. You've all got a week to think about it. I'll just remember to bump the thread after the draft if it turns out anyone is interested in participating in this little exercise.
