Rhodes is a fine pick for the Colts. Depending on what they do in free agency I think they might pick Fluker if he was available. But I am a Rhodes fan. Especially if he runs faster than 4.5.

another horrible NT pick for the steelers....Allen, Jordan, Teo, Hopkins, Rhodes would all be much better picks.
I dont get why everyone thinks NT is such a huge need, Hampton was useless but they have guys behind him

I originally had Floyd as a 5-tech but decided to go with Hankins instead. As you said, Hampton is a FA and likely done either way at 35.
Unless you're seeing something I'm not, they have nothing behind Hampton. Ta'Amu is so out of shape, McClendon is only 280-290 and not a full-time NT, that leaves Fangupo who is another unknown.
The Steelers likely won't take a WR, or a LBer like Jordan. Teo is a possibility as is Rhodes, but Hankins is the better value

Mcclendon was like 280-290 2 years ago, he was over 320 last season and looked like the best bet to win the NT job, but like i said they gave hampton way too many snaps. Al Woods is my favorite NT on the roster, i think he could be a badass overall dlineman and move around but he definitely has the size to play NT. Taamu was not out of shape at all, he was in great shape at like 348 last season, he carries his weight well but even now hes supposed to be around 325-330 which for a 6-5 man like him isnt really that out of shape for a NT.
I think the steelers would definitely take a WR there, allen and patterson are both on their radar right now. Jordan isnt a typical pick, but mingo may be if hes there and certainly jarvis jones. But imo WR, OLB and even RB, TE, CB, S and MLB are bigger needs than NT right now.
and like i said in another thread, Hood may get in the rotation at NT because he can only really ever win a battle over center

I'm not a fan of taking Cyprien in the first round but he's really growing on me. If Reed isn't with the team next season I wouldn't mind him in the second round. Not the first round though. Give Minter to the Ravens instead.

Perfect Chicago Bears pick!
|
Seeing an ILB for the Bears makes me a little sad. I'm not a Bears fan but I always liked Brian Urlacher. Ray Lewis and Urlacher were the Dick Butkis and Ray Nichke of our era. Lewis is retired and Urlacher soon will be.
Comparing my mock with this one, our only match was Dee Milliner to Cleveland. I also liked the Oakland pick. Richard Seymour doesn't have much left, and Star playing with giant DE Lamarr Houston would throw a lot of size at their opponents' offensive lines.
Kiki Mingo to Jacksonville is way to high (at least at the current pre-combine stage). Dion Jordan could be a rushing linebacker like you have him listed, but the Giants play a 4-3. He would be light for a DE, but so was Jason Taylor and that worked.
Why do you have the Texans taking a guard? They have Ben Jones, and Brandon Brooks will take over for Wade Smith when he's done playing. But in general, it's a decent mock.

I could definitely get on board with Werner if he slips that far.
