DiManche is an intriguing small school prospect. No combine invite, but pro day numbers compare very favorably with other pro day numbers for other LB talents.
Productive at S. Illinois U. Sacks, tackles and tackles for loss.
He is explosive on tape as you'd expect given the competition. A good OLB LB with range, and ability to close on players aggressively. He eats up the space between him and ball carrier rapidly.
Appears fluid in his ability to drop into coverage.
Stereotypical story of small school prospect. Has tools. Has the tape. But I think there is a significant difference between his tape and say that of Eric Fisher of C. Michigan.
DiManche is a late day 3 prospect. There is little knowing if his explosiveness will translate to a higher brand of competition or not. I personally like him for a team stocked with late round picks. This is a draft where there is precious little speed at OLB -- so I'd expect him to get drafted. He's starting to get more notice in the last 6 weeks or so.
