He did run some
zone plays at Bama, but more or less they run a lot of man stuff as well.
Could he play in a ZBS? absolutely, but it would be a waste of his talents in my opinion.
You don't need strong man-handlers in a ZBS because your trying to get 4 hands on each down guy before you climb. For that reason, guys like Fisher, Armstead and Johnson are more appealing to these teams. Its all about the type of system the team runs and how they value players. We saw this when the Redskins took Trent Williams over perhaps better OTs because of the system they were planning to run.
That said, Fluker would be an ideal LG in a ZBS (w/Righty QB) as you require your LG to man up the 3 technique a lot of the time, without any help.... especially on naked boots.
