Default Guys Ranked Higher by Scouts than the Media

Who are the guys that you think are rated higher by scouts than the media and websites?

Every year the names start leaking out about now and they surprise all of us that "that player" is talked about in the 1st round.

It started this year with Fluker who there were all sorts of reports was very popular with 1st round teams and even as an OT.

Others?

C Brian Schwenke, I think he goes top 55 picks with Green Bay being his floor in the 2nd.

DT John Jenkins/OT D.J Fluker, these are my guys that the media crucify for not moving well and being too big that the scouts love because you cannot teach a human to be that big.

TE Gavin Escobar, mediocre workout numbers drop you pretty quickly in the media rankings but he is so smooth.

DE Demontre Moore, he tested like a high school senior, but he got sacks in the SEC.

You're wrong about Moore. He's a late-first, early-2nd. Sacks in the SEC doesn't mean as much as we think (there was a good graphic about sack leaders not usually translating).

I think:

- Menelik Watson
- Travis Frederick
- Quanterrus Smith
- Kevin Reddick
- Montori Hughes
- Margus Hunt

Sylvester Williams....everyone wants to drop him because of his age but everything I hear is he is going in the top 20 maybe even top 15

Tyler Eifert...most have him going in the late first but word coming out is he is going to go in the 15 range.

Justin Pugh is going round 1 but everyone thinks hes going round 2.

Josh Evans is being projected in the round 4-6, I think he will go round 3.

Yeah...Margus Hunt, EJ Manuel, Mike Glennon, DJ Fluker, Sylvester Williams, Menelik Watson, Justin Pugh, DJ Hayden, Jamar Taylor are a few guys who scouts seem to like a lot that will go higher than we thought when the whole predraft process started. Versatility, athleticism/upside are things that evaluators love, even if college production wasn't quite there exactly. I mean, Dion Jordan and Ziggy Ansah weren't thought of as surefire top five or top 10 picks very long ago. Same with Sharrif Floyd.
