Man that's a lot to give up for Star. I like Star but I wouldn't trade 4 picks for him. Nice pick at 61 though.

Thats a solid mock IMO overall, especially for a first effort.
Some critiques from me, do with them as you please;
1 - San Diego with new management and coach are probably looking to keep their picks so they can turn over the roster and put thier own stamp on the team. While I like the trade and would strongly consider it myself, I think they dont do it. Just my opinion, but they can stay at 11 take a guard, then a T in the second and improve two spots on the line. Swearinger is a nice pick up and compliment at 61.
2 - I dont see how C. Patterson goes in the top 10, route running is really iffy at best, and he catches alot of balls with his body/close to his body and bobbles them., which is a hard habit to break, really hard, and makes it hard for him to contest balls in tighter coverage. I like his explosiveness with the ball in his hands, I just am not sure he will be able to get away with things in the Pro's that he did in college. Thats it!!

Love the trade for Buffalo and S.F. With all those picks, that is the type of power move IMO they should make. Lotulei would give them a Ngata type player on thier Dline, they give up alot of picks, but value wise they would have to, Star is a top 5 talent and I think 2nd or 3rd rated guy on my board. Excellent long term replacement for J. Smith, and short term option at NT or DE, I love it for themg, great value.
Being a Bills fan and landing Eifert (not sure he's going to be there) and Nassib (who is #1 on my board,or Barkley, who I think they like the most) is sweet for them. I like Long, althougt I think Warford or Pugh (as a G) make more sense for them given Nix's affinity for SEC players, and Pughs connection to Marrone. I do not think they are looking at G, despite the apparent need, they have mentioned liking the 6 they have on the roster, and not really having a need there. I could see them taking any of the other players listed afterwards as well, or a reciever (Dobson, Patton or Baily all of which would also be great picks in the 3rd round). Personally I would take Banks or Collins as I have both as first rounders. Ogletree is someone with character concerns they seem to steer clear from.

Nice job :)

I'm incredibly torn on Banks. At this point I tend to prefer Slay even over Banks. I'm not confident that Banks has a high enough ceiling. Wouldnt hate the pick though.

Carolina has much bigger needs than drafting a TE in the second round. OL, WR, S, CB, all would make more sense.

Thumbs up

I love the Niners Deal!

Its a lot of Picks, but the Niners first havent that much Needs and second havent that much space under the Cap and Roster to bring in that much Players.

Star is one of my Favorite Players in this Draft and should be a good Back Up and rotational Player on all D-Line spots in the first year. Maybe also the Starter on NT, but we didnt play much with a Nose (36% or so last year).
Later he can take over from Justin Smith.

I really hope the Niners trade up this year and grab a good player (if its not Star).

Have heard about the Hayden interest....don't like the pick though. We have other needs and I think we're okay at the moment at CB to bypass it.

Dion Jordan I can live with at 9 and Lacy is fine but I think we trade for Chris Ivory so RB is not a need if we make that move.

if we didn't take a CB or WR in the first two rounds, this draft would be a fail

Oh HELL NO!!! Trading away FOUR picks for a player thats not going to fit in with our defense and we barely used a NT (35%) last season because when you have Justin, Aldon, McDonald, Brooks, Willis and Bowman, you dont need to.

Love the Swearinger pick as thats who im hoping we draft to play FS but that huge trade is horrible. Sorry. UGH.

Sorry but as a 49ers fan, I hate this trade. Its horrible. Way too much to give up and for a player thats barely going to play...no way. And quite honestly, I dont see Baalke trading up into teens let alone the top ten so people need to stop mocking that to us because thats not going to happen. For us, there's only one player that I would consider trading up for and thats CB Dee Milliner but thats not going to happen either.

And quite honestly, depending on who's still available at 31, im actually hoping the team trades DOWN into the second round with say, BUF who'll jump up to get whichever QB they want at 31. Then, with the extra 2nd and 3rd rounders, I would make the 2nd round, the 49ers round in which they get at least five players and regardless of what they would do the rest of the draft, they would easily get at least an A- if not better.

Thank you for having us trade down before taking Nassib in the 1st. That is the only way I can feel ok about taking him. Getting Nassib, Eifert and Long would be a very non exciting but solid draft for the 1st two rounds.

I don't see Eifert getting to the 2nd rnd btw.
