Tannehill struggled plenty last year, the difference between them is that he is a young former top 3 pick while Weeden is an old late first rounder with a new front office.

Their play isn't really dictating either of them to be starters entirely on merit yet.
When was Tannehill a top 3 pick?

Anyway, both had putrid WRs last year, weeden is fighting for a starting job because shurmus is out and the new coaching staff has no ties to their 29 year old 2nd year player. I think Josh Gordon is going to be a good one but he had his fair share of WTF moments last season and dropped some passes just like little.

Miami upgraded their WRs big time with wallace, it will be interesting to see if he can run anything more than a 9 route since he got paid, and if tannehill can get him the ball 50 yards down the field. Hes a poor route runner and is scared to run slants, but he may get better now that he has the contract he wants

The major difference is tannehill has a coaching staff behind him and a long future in the league, weeden could be looking at the end of his career before it even starts just based on his age and no one wanting to commit the time to develop him

Eh, Bradford at least has enough arm to make all of the throws and be able to attack teams deep. Weeden may not be very good at being a QB and may be older than dirt, but at least his arm isn't far behind RT's the way Ponder/Bradford would be.
