This team making the playoffs would've been a complete joke. We've set offensive football back 20 years.

Well, the good news is we may have a chance at Jake Matthews now...

I hate to be that guy, but it looks like we're staring down the barrel of a top-10 pick and a new coaching staff. I'm seeing two more wins from this team at most.

I've been busy all day. I just found out Locker is done for the year and the Jaguars won. Time to draft a new QB.

Today was definitely disappointing. There's still a chance that this team rallies behind Fitz and makes a push for that last wildcard spot, but it's hard to be optimistic about our chances right now.

The real question now is whether we look at drafting a QB this offseason. I'm a believer in Locker's abilities, as he showed in the first part of this season that he's capable of being a franchise QB. But he just can't stay healthy, which is sad. This is the 3rd or 4th serious injury that he's had already in his young career; and today's Lisfranc injury is probably the most serious of all. For a lot of guys, it takes two years to fully return from that injury, and some guys never look the same after it.

Luckily for us, this upcoming draft seems to be pretty talented and deep at QB -- especially if the underclassmen come out early. The top options seem to be Bridgewater, Mariota, McCarron, Manziel, Hundley, Mettenberger, Carr, etc. It's probably unlikely that all those guys come out; and there are a few on that list that I'm very wary of. However, at least we'd have options, as it seems like most of those guys (with the exception of Bridgewater and maybe Mariota) could potentially be available at our pick.

There's a chance Kelly Brook knocks on my door tomorrow for torrid sex, but it doesn't mean it's gonna ****ing happen.

Lets sign Jay Cutler this offseason. He and Locker should at least combine for 16 starts.

Hopefully.

In all honesty, anyone who thinks Locker is the team's franchise quarterback is a blissful idiot at this point. He simply cannot stay healthy.

I hope we tank for the rest of the year for a shot at Bridgewater, Clowney or whoever the number 2 QB in the draft is.

We don't have a shot in hell at either one of Teddy or Clowney at this point since we already have 4 wins, and I expect we'll still win 1-2 more.

Typical Titans. Bad, but not bad enough to draft elite players.

Wanna give Cousins or Mallet a shot in a trade?

Hogan is the only QB in this draft I'd take early, besides Bridgewater, but he won't come early.

I guess it depends on who they would hire as the next coach and that coach's system.

I could go for Cousins.

I still believe in Locker, I'll stick by him to the end! I have a loyalty to our drafted QBs. I still believe in Vince!

Plus, any of the QBs in the first round don't really impress me, besides Bridgewater. I wouldn't mind Manziel just because he's awesome, but my Tiger-Cats have him negotiation rights and I want him up here for him to rape the CFL like nobodys business. There's some later round guys I wouldn't mind adding just to develop like a Fales, Murray or even McCarron. We could always just go full on tank and Prepare our Anus for Jameis the following year.

I'm warming up to the Jake Matthews pick if he was available. Still love Ebron, and also Olomu, possibly HaHa. Those two just give the vibe that they ooze swag. But honestly, I think I get enamoured with names more than anything else.

You'd like to think Locker could get beyond the injury issues but they'd probably be smart to bring in someone to groom for what seems like inevitable.

Well it's disappointing to have to talk about this, but with the Locker injury it's something that needs to be talked about.

I need to analyze more, but to me Teddy Bridgewater does not appear to be a franchise QB.

Two of my favorite QBs in this glass is Derek Carr and Zach Mettenberger.

We could always try to pursue Cutler if he hits free agency, or try a trade for Big Ben, who is seriously pissed at the Steelers.

So maybe our best plan is to hope the Steelers blow the rest of the season?

I agree. I'm not quite ready to cut ties entirely with Locker, but I do think that this team needs a viable backup plan in the form of a QB that they can develop if/when Locker gets hurt again.

Looking at the top QBs in this draft, it's very unlikely that we have a shot at either Bridgewater or Marioti. (I don't see Hundley coming out early, as he'd really benefit from another year in school.) That leaves Mettenberger, Boyd, McCarron, Manziel, and Carr as the top options available. Fortunately for us, I could see 2-3 of these guys being available at the early-mid 2nd Round, depending on how the combine goes.

I've watched Manziel play a lot over the past two years, and I don't want any part of him on the Titans. He's gotten better this year, but he won't outrun NFL DEs/LBs the way that he outruns college ones. And his throws have never really impressed me either. (Evans has made sooo many saves for him this season that it surprises me that Manziel is still so hyped.) If I was advising Manziel, I'd encourage him to stay in school because it's likely that this is as good as it's going to get for him. (Stay in school, be a local hero in College Station, and an ESPN darling.) But he's indicated that he's ready to leave; and he may be foolish enough to follow through with that.

I've seen virtually every game that McCarron has played at Alabama. He's really progressed over the past few years and has convinced me that he could be a solid starter in the NFL -- maybe not a "franchise QB" but a solid player. His stats aren't as flashy this season; however, his OL was terrible to start the season and his WRs (notably Cooper) dropped lots of passes.

Boyd's talent is intriguing, but he seems prone to mental errors. Part of me wonders if this is the result of him pressing too much this year and trying to do too much on offense. In the right system and with patience, I could see him developing into a good NFL QB. I've only seen Carr play once, so I don't have enough to really judge his abilities.

Mettenberger is the QB that I'm most intrigued by after Bridgewater. I HATE LSU with a passion, but I've seen Mettneberger play a lot over the past two years, and he really has grown by leaps and bounds this season. He's got a strong arm; and even though he still shows some mental lapses, it seems like he's getting better at his reads and could really flourish with the right staff.

I'd rank them:
1. Bridgewater
2. Mettenberger
3. Mariota
4. McCarron
5. Boyd
6. Manziel
7. Carr

I still hate the idea of now taking a QB that high (just days ago I was waiting til the later rounds) but it seems it's jumped up rather quickly even on my own board. I agree with most of what you've said though.

Mettenberger has grown so much since coming from Juco, and he reminds me somewhat of Big Ben coming out, only more like todays Big Ben in terms of athleticism. He's also a little like Ben off the field as well (if you know what I mean) He's got an amazing arm, and I would love to see him airing it out to Justin Hunter.

Mariota is a solid college QB but I don't see him translating well to the NFL. He may be a Colin Kaepernick type, but ultimately I see the lack of passing ability to always harm him. People have overlooked this about Kaep IMO.

Not a big fan of Bridgewater either, gets happy feet in the pocket and I just don't see much of an NFL future there either.

What intrigues me most with Mettenberger is when I watch him, I see everything that translates to the NFL. I can see him developing into a Philip Rivers, Eli Manning, Big Ben etc. I'm not going to say Peyton or Tom, because I don't think you ever project a guy to be one of the greatest ever.

If the season ended today, I'd take Mettenberger with the #1 pick. He seems like a standup guy, great personality. I've actually been following Mettenberger from his days at Butler Community College

I think the second round would be where you'd look for a guy to groom. A few names i'd be interested in there:

Tajh Boyd
David Carr
Zach Mettenberger
Sean Mannion
Blake Bortles

I can't tell what to think of Boyd. At times I like him, at times I don't.

I see Bortles staying for his senior year.
