Post Most impressive prospects after watching them more closely...?

Here are some of the most impressive players I have seen after watching a little more tape on them this summer, a few of them really standout as elite level talents.

Devonte Fields TCU DE SOPH:

The kid is ridiculous, really comes off the ball and is such an elite pass rusher. Has been suspended the first two games by TCU, supposedly was out of shape and that is not good to see him getting lazy. But on the field last year, wow, now all he has to do is get better and keep working.

Eddie Johnson Hinds college/Miami FL OLB SOPH:

No longer with the Canes, but his tape last year is ridiculous. Crushes people, such a talented hitter and physical backer with speed. Hope he clears up his books and gets back with the Canes, he could be a star linebacker.

Leonard Williams USC DE/DT SOPH:

Really surprising, tall kid, great possible DE, good size and very athletic. A star on a awful USC defense considering their history with Pete Carroll, is a real standout with a lot of talent, could be one of the most talented defensive lineman they have had in recent years where they have not had much.

Lamarcus Joyner Florida State CB SR:

Stone cold hitter, knocks people out, is moving back to corner and if he plays well there he will be a 1st round pick. Such a tough player and really standouts at safety or corner.

Phillip Dorsett Miami FL WR JR:

Explosive, quick with the ball in his hands, really is impressive. Such great speed and should have an even better season this year. One of the most explosive receivers in the nation.

Eric Ebron UNC TE JR: Standout tight end, really surprising how good he is at blocking for being such a fine pass catching tight end. He could be really elite if he continues to develop.

Ifo Ekpre-Olomu Oregon CB JR: Star corner, such a good looking prospect. Long arms, reacts well on the field and can tackle also. If he comes out he is easily in the group of the top five corners.

Aaron Lynch South Florida DE RS SOPH: Should be a monster at USF, long player, great length and gets wonderful push and pass rush. If he has a season just slightly better than his freshman year on Notre Dame, he will most likely come out early with his talent and size.

Stephen Morris Miami FL QB SR: Great looking quarterback, has an awesome arm, really throws a nice deep ball, has good touch. A lot of people are sleeping on this senior, he is a very good player and should have a monster season this year for Miami.

Bradley Roby Ohio State CB JR: Got in some trouble this off season, but kid is a stud cover corner. Good tackler, very good playmaker in pass coverage and as a tackler in the open field. Now he just has to get his off the field life together.

Karlos Williams Florida State SS JR: What a tough kid, did not really standout last year around so much talent on Florida State. But if you specifically watch him, he is one hell of a hitter and takes players right on and stops them. Good talent, gets the chance to be the man at safety and should take the challenge it head on.

Loucheiz Purifoy Florida CB JR: Did not really like him as a freshman, got lit up with the ball in his hands more than once against Florida. But he is a tough kid, very, very good coverage skills and athletic ability. If he can go both ways for Florida this season he could really prove a lot and he is a top five corner prospect in next years draft arguably.

Ra'Shede Hageman Minnesota DT SR: Hard not to like what you see out of the kid. Big size, good effort, good athlete. Can rush the passer for the inside and get consistent push in the pocket. If he keeps developing and has a good year, one could be talking a 1st or 2nd round pick if he plays at his best in a moderately weak defensive tackle class.

Dezmen Southward Wisconsin SS SR: Kid stands out, tough, good speed and is around the ball. Not a usually talented Badger secondary, he is a very good player and is one of the better senior safeties around.

Deion Barnes Penn State DE SOPH: Stud prospect, such a talented edge rusher with bulk to hold his position. Nice prospect and should be a star in a few years, great player.

Stefon Diggs Maryland WR SOPH: Really impressive with the ball in his hands, can really make people miss. Should be even more dominating this season, and as a return man he is already one of the best in the country.

Cornelius Lucas Kansas State OT RS SR: Hard not to like the kid, very good in pass protection. Wish he was a little stronger with the run but since he can protect the passer decent for his amazing size and length, he has a lot of upside. Will see how his senior season goes, he could really work his way up high on some draft boards.

Will Sutton Arizona State DT SR: Hard to not like the kid, played so great last year, made plays everywhere. Got constant pressure on the quarterback, not an ideal mold for a defensive tackle however, but he gets the job done and at worst he could be a fine 3/4 DE if not a 4/3 DT that can get a pass rush. Will be fun to see what he does this year.

Jamie Wilson Western Michigan WR SOPH: So smooth, quick, nice hands and good feet. Very talented pass catcher, will see how he does with a different quarterback, but against the competition he plays, he should absolutely dominate the game.
