Default 2012 4th rounder Tyler Wilson CUT by the Raiders!

Undrafted Penn State QB Matt McGloin outplayed him. I was pissed when we picked Mr. Small hands. Some people here had him as a first rounder.

If there is a lesson here (besides don't be a homer), I'd say it's when a supposed top tier QB under performs, don't immediately start blaming the talent around him. NFL worthy QB talent cannot be held back by the talent around him.

Kaepernick is this years pat white. Thin, gimmick offense and doesn't possess an nfl arm. The ncaa constantly regurgitates clones of past players and amazingly enough, tricks some people into thinking they're better than their cloned half. Kaepernick was a complete waste of a senior bowl qb spot. A better qb will come from the east/west shrine or whatever they're calling it now...count on it

Guys like Brett Favre, John Elway, Jay Cutler and Jake Locker would all argue that they were held back by less than stellar supporting classes.

Hopefully we can close the book on the gloating about how Tyler Wilson was such a terrible pick.

A little bit of humility in the future from everyone on this forum who argued that Tyler Wilson was the #1 QB or #1 prospect would be nice though. There were some people that were completely off the rails when debating Tyler Wilson's value before the draft on this forum.

Not sure what those QBs you mentioned have to do with anything related to Tyler Wilson...

Oh, so we are jumping straight to gloating? So all that campaigning day in and day out, we are all just supposed to ignore now?

Dude, let me tell you something. I am a diehard Raider fan over the course of three decades. The fact that they haven't had a QB since Gannon is like poison to my system. I have every reason to want the guy to succeed with us, but I had my doubts based on what I saw from him. The fact is there were guys claiming he was a first round pick and that he was held back by people around him was as laughable as the people who were saying the same thing about Jake Locker, although Locker at least possessed nice athleticism. Short, suspect arm, small hands, wavering accuracy and bad decision making does not = a first round pick let alone the #1 pick overall.

I heard his biggest problem was he couldn't grasp the playbook. The verbiage was too much for him.

Just state your case and move on. The Wilson supporters were wrong and
It was sort of supported by the fact that he was a 4th round pick. If it makes you feel better to keep piling on then have at it.
