I wanted Justin Houston in the first round that year so I was insanely happy to get him in the third.

What about Tyson Jackson. Why are we ignoring how well he's played so far?

Yes he is. The Chiefs faked like 5 injuries last night to slow the game down. It's smart, though definitely not the most noble of things.

He has played very well this year. It's like he's a new guy.

No, Flowers didn't fake anything and you're out of your mind if you think otherwise. If you're going to slow the game down by faking an injury, why would you use Flowers? Why not Abdullah? Or Demps? Someone who isn't MONUMENTALLY IMPORTANT to your overall defensive scheme?

Go nepg. Just go.

He absolutely pile drove Jason Kelce on that one play, that was pretty awesome. Rough game for Kelce.

I think the NFL needs to make a rule you can only be injured once a game. Seeing the same player down 2-3 times is just not right.

Flowers was hurt entering the game and I have no doubt he was injured, same with Smith as you could see him tweak it just barely.

Eagle fans booing every time any opposing player gets hurt is getting old. Your offense isn't even really all that fast, yet fans act like it's slowing them down and ruining the drive. I'd rather have some backup in there than Flowers personally.

He faked at least once. So did Sean Smith (that one was obvious). Maybe he was tired from running 40-yard sprints constantly and needed a breather anyway? Demps, at safety, isn't covering man-to-man with an outside receiver. Same with Abdullah. I don't know what Reid/Sutton told them. From the way they were rotating fakes, I'm guessing it was just if you're tired and it isn't under 2 minutes take a seat.

They seem to have a lot of (justified so far) faith in their defensive backfield and they aren't just relying on Flowers.

Idk about Flowers but that Sean Smith one looked incredibly, blatantly fake. That being said, pretty much every game I've watched this year has had an injury that I thought was faked, its becoming part of the game (sadly).

With how many teams are always looking for pass rushers, it was pretty amazing.

Very limited because he has been on the PUP.

He's going to be used as an end when they use an even front. I don't assume he'll be utilized as a traditional 3-4 DE, at all.

But he's scaling at 6'4" 280+ right now. Maybe he can get around 290 and be a JJ Watt style DE.

Remember how many post their were this past off-season about letting Albert walk and getting an equal replacement of the same talent level for cheaper? Nice when it's the off-season and you can just plug in rookies and assume they are upgrades. Fisher and Joeckel have been slow to start at RT which makes you think if they were at LT they would have gotten their QB killed by now.

Yeah, pretty much. I think both can be good players, but I would hate to start a rookie at LT.

Anyone here ever heard of David Bakhtiari?
He's starting at LT in front of Rodgers. Amazingly.

I don't know much about Ryan Clady's replacement in Denver.
BroncoFan, what's the 411 on him?

Chris Clark is going to replace Clady, he started all of preseason pretty much.
Is he good? Not really. Is he awful? Meh, I'm a little worried protecting Manning.

The good news is, he's protecting Peyton Manning who played with some god awful LT's in Indy, gets the ball out quick and fast.

Broncos will probably utilize protection schemes to help him out, such as chipping or keeping a TE in to block.

Big game for the Skins and Lions tomorrow. Skins can't start 0-3 and if Schwartz goes 1-2 his seat gets hot. Of course this is the ownership that didn't fire Matt Millen for a decade so who knows.

I wonder if Philip Rivers can continue his dominant level of play this year under Mike McCoy. So far, he's on pace for 4,912 yards and 56 touchdowns, completing 65.8% with 8.08 yards per attempt, and the Chargers are averaging 30.5 points per game.

I got Sunday Ticket.

Looking forward to the 3:00 Atlanta and Miami game. I expect Atlanta to win that one.

Green Bay at Cinci is a tough game that could go either way. Rodgers has never beaten Cinci and that defense could be trouble for him because of trouble for his depleted OL.

Love the Giants at Panthers game, and like the Chargers at Titans game.
I hooked the Giants with the Chargers a little $ there..... went with the better QB in each matchup.

Houston at Baltimore is a good one, and I hope Ed Reed can get out there and play.
