That's a good question. I would assume that a 1-loss SEC team gets in over Louisville, but I dunno.

Georgia plays Nebraska again...Ugh. So bored of UGA vs Big10 Teams in meaningless Florida Bowls.

Look at Louisville's schedule. They had no shot at making the Title game.

Thats what happens when a team drops 545 rushing yards on you. Missouri was also widely hyped as having the best DL in the conference. They got absolutely abused.
Missouri's defense was a fraud. Look at their schedule. Outside of SC, who they lost to, the East was a joke.

With Louisville starting the season as high as they did, there is a slight chance. I think Auburn would have jumped them though.

Regardless of the talent level of the East, they still performed well against elite SEC competition, and their loss to South Carolina was still incredibly close. Regardless of who you play, leading the SEC in tackles for loss, sacks, passes defended, interceptions, turnover margin and being second in forced fumbles throughout the course of the season in the SEC is impressive. They faced plenty of talented teams. UGA, who although they did not have Gurley had two of their three leading rushers on the season and Arthur Lynch, Chris Connelly, and Aaron Murray. Ole Miss is another good team they faced from their division. The defense kept a very good Texas A&M offense bottled up for four quarters.

I wouldn't call their defense a fraud based on one bad game against a team that's going to be playing for a national championship.

By the time they faced Georgia and Florida, they were far from "elite SEC competition", they were shells of the teams they lined up in August.

I don't recall mentioning Florida so I don't why you're telling me that. Georgia was missing Gurley, but was still a competitive football team and they played them halfway through the season. They were obviously still a talented team as they were eight point favorites in the game.

well in his defense you did say 'elite SEC competition' and not 'georgia'. the only other somewhat impressive win was over texas a&m. that one was probably more impressive than the uga win, imo.

All things considered Missouri caught every break they could en route to the SECCG, including losing to the best team in the division who had 2 losses because they didn't play Georgia's JV team.

Can we just revert to pre-1906 rules for Army-Navy? Even Army's forward passes are going backwards.

Navy shits on Army yet again.

How many graduates of the Military Academy will retire with a full pension without seeing their team ever win?

Go Navy Beat Army
