Default Outrageous Predictions

So many of us have a tendency to undersell our favorite sleepers. We say that they'll be solid NFL players, decent starters, etc. Basically, you're trying to save face in case your guy doesn't succeed like you think he will. In this thread, let's ban weak endorsements. Your reputation isn't going to be destroyed by one over-exuberant prospect crush. Give us your favorite player. Give us the future Hall of Fame guy that everyone underrates.

Please, try to give us someone who is not currently projected to go in the second round.

Also, to start this thread off right, I admit to giving Tyler Wilson a mid-first round grade. That worked out well.

Finally, for my favorite (not best) prospect so far.... Paul Richardson. I'm only now getting into my serious scouting, but he stands out from what I've seen. I love his ability as a deep threat. He should be a dynamic playmaker in the NFL. I could see him being paired up with a big-armed QB and consistently racking up 1000+ yard seasons.

Not really about a player, but I'm going to call it now. The New York Jets and their 31st ranked passing offense are going to draft a defensive back with their first round pick.

Because **** me.

Keith Wenning going into the mid round. If he went undrafted, Jets must sign him at any cost.

His name has escaped me but RB from SJST has a hell of story. Love to root for him anywhere.

not even close. FSU fan and he was 3rd on our depth chart at the end of the season. He runs too upright and he is not the big power back that streamrolls everyone like his physique would suggest. Freeman is 3 times the running back he is.

Marcus Smith, DE/OLB, Louisville will lead all rookies in sacks.
Jordan Zumwalt, LB, UCLA will be this year's Kiko Alonzo. He will go earlier than expected and lead all rookies in tackles.

My outrageous prediction is that Jimmy Garoppolo will go in the first twenty picks of the first round.

FSU had three future pros in the backfield. Doesn't mean Wilder sucked.
I totally believe he's gonna be better in the NFL than he was at FSU.

When your backfield is that deep, there simply aren't enough carries for everyone.
If he can stay healthy, Wilder is going to get off in the NFL.

The easiest way for a RB to drop on a depth chart is to complain about your carries.

I agree, I look at Jeremy Hill, a guy with similar size but I don't think he possesses even close to what Wilder does.

Wilder is just a natural runner with natural ability. If he can get that going in the pros there's no reason he can't be one of the best backs in the NFL, or at least a productive back.

Some fans will claim the Combine is overrated and a waste of time, and those same fans will make major changes in their views of some prospects based on things that happen at the Combine.

Oh wait, that's not an outrageous prediction at all.
