Default Post Combine Mock Draft Shake Up

Starting to think a team will be more likely to jump back into the 1st RD and draft Bortles or Manziel. I think there just may be to many questions about them being ready to play right now to pass up on a J. Clowney, K. Mack or S. Watkins. I think Minnesota gets Carr w/ one of there 2 3rd rd's or trades back into the 1st to take Manziel or Bortles pairing there 2nd rd'r w/ the early 3rd. NE, SF and CIN are my 3 most likely teams to trade out of the 1st RD if they think the player they wan't will stay. STL, CLE, SF, MIN and NE are my favorites for biggest draft day movers.

1. Houston Texans: Jadaveon Clowney, DE, South Carolina

Ford works for the Bengals, but he will more then likely be more of a LB then a DE for the them.

Switch Lee with Beckham Jr and it is fine. Beckham Jr has ties with us since we hired LSU's Special Teams coach and he seems like he can be more of a home run hitter, which we desperately need.

Yup, thats what fans always say on draft day. Thats what I said when the Vikings drafted Christian Ponder and it's probably what fans of many other teams say all the time. Things rarely go down how there expected to.

If Manziel and Bortles both don't go in the first round you can have my car.

Your mock draft is horrible for that reason alone.

why, specifically, do you think denver should take a tackle (their deepest position by far on the entire OL) in the first round?

21. Green Bay Packers: Lamarcus Joyner,S/CB, Virginia Tech

Joyner is from FSU and even with his solid combine I think he is a reach in the 1st.

Hageman or Dennard would be better picks than nix

Benjamin in 2 is awesome though

I've been editing it since I posted it. At first I thought they looked bad in the only game that mattered but once Clady comes back it shouldn't be a issue and Franklin should develop nicely on the right side

RD2

35. Cleveland Browns: Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M I'll openly admit, I hate JFF............in Rd 2, it be a little easier to swallow though
I'm not sure on this

I like both picks for the Vikes. I am getting more and more on the side of taking Gilbert or Dennard with the 1st round pick.

Are you a Texans fan? No way Bortles falls to the 2nd round. And horrible pick for the Colts. They don't need an OT. They need to go defense and a WR in this draft.

Jacksonville already has a RT. Would rather take XSF at #39 if Caldwell and Bradley wanted to get an OL.

Horrible draft for SF, Jimmy Ward is a late 2nd imo, there were still top WRs that I would have preferred. Things get even worse in the 2nd round, Aaron Colvin tore his ACL last month and he was barely a 2nd rounder before that. More ACL's follow with Dominick Easley and his 2 torn ACL's. I know we drafted Tank Carradine and Lattimore last year but we are capable of drafting players who have NOT torn their ACL recently.

We pick 16th, ravens are 17 just for accuracy.

Your last mock for Dallas was on target, I don't know if they would take Hageman, lacks the quick twitch that Marinelli is looking for, with that lay out, it may be early for Dee Ford but I think he would be the better pick.

In the 2nd, it would remove the need for a pass rusher at DE, so with the way you have it idk, you eliminated the safeties, maybe we continue to stack the DLine and take Easley to play DT.

Now that you added a 2nd round, Murphy could work as our 3-4 OLB but boy I'd hate to not get a TE somewhere soon....I can see a trade down for Niklas in this scenario.

Beckham Jr/Murphy is a good come out of the 1st 2 rounds.

I'd expect the Eagles to go with Ford > Tuitt in the first if thats how the board falls.
