Really wanted Aaron Donald, but he's gone. :(

Kony Ealy is a good consolation prize though, although that could mean that we cut DeMarcus Ware. Which would just be depressing... :(

Side note: Wow on Dennard dropping to 20! I personally think Pitt would rather have him than Pryor, but I'm not a Steelers expert either.

The Clark/Polamalu combo is coming to an end, and the Steelers have always done a good job of being strong in the middle of the field. Pryor has positional flexibility at free or strong safety and he brings physicality. He feels like a Steeler pick.

Barr isn't a special player. He has athleticism, but he's not off-the-charts athletically. He's strictly a speed rusher and is very raw yet at outside backer. I don't think he's ever been as good as a Top 5 or 10 prospect like many have touted over the past nine months or so.

passing Evans for Lewan would be absolutely horrendous and disastrous and bad.

Free agency is going to tell us plenty about the direction Minnesota will head with their pick, and I feel it's more likely they bring in pieces at corner than along the defensive line in free agency.

Jernigan is a dominant defensive tackle and would help re-tool a defensive line currently deprived of talent. Cincinnati invested several early draft picks in the defensive line while Zimmer was there and their ability to create a top tier unit helped the back seven, which was littered with average players.

I think Hageman and Donald are both better than Jernigan. Ultimately, I just dont see a DT I would be excited about top 10.

even if wed go olb (and at this point that feels highly unlikely as its barely a need at all compared to a few other positions) wed go with someone who would offer more versatility than dee ford. Adding a poor mans galette would do nothing for the team

I like Cooks but I'd much rather see Baltimore bring in a guy that can play on the outside. Marlon Brown needs to be moved into the slot for close to full-time.

The GM and owner of Jacksonville would be run out of town if they pass on a QB. Their fan base is already pissed off and this would be a financial disaster for ticket sales. Never going to happen if any other QB goes top 5 after this pick.

Also, the Rams know there will be a scrap over QB's, so their pick is worth its weight in gold and they can still get Robinson even if they trade back to 4 or 5. Cleveland, and Oakland and even Minny and Tampa will all try to secure their pick. Trades in the top 5 when QB's are in play always happen if there is a team that doesn't need one. They are going to get another fortune in extra picks similar to the RG111 trade, so why would they remain at 2.

Do you think Manziel is better than Bridgewater or is it because you think the Browns will naturally **** up? I'm not trying to be rude I'm just curious. I love Lee but I couldn't stomach passing on Bridgewater.

Whenever I do a mock, I always stick to what I think will happen as opposed to what I would like to see happen. I don't have Manziel as a first round caliber quarterback so all this gushing over him in the top 10 is laughable. Bridgewater is the top signal caller and I don't feel it's all that close.

Princefielder,

Really can't argue with the players you selected for the Rams, but I can tell you there is little chance that they will go back to back offense in the first round.

If Robinson goes first then look for a guy like Aaron Donald or Darqueze Dennard to go at #13.

Keep 'em comin'!!

Can't fault you for that.
It's going to be funny with who the Browns draft this May... There are so many different players that can be picked where about 50% of the fan base will hate the pick.

I have about 5 guys I wouldn't mind at #4, so when I see Manziel and Lee I would be extremely happy with that draft.

Good Jets pick. Fans might yell "ANOTHER TE IN ROUND 1. CURSES JETS!" but he fits the billing of what we need. Besides the ones they boo end up usually being the good ones.
