I voted Urlacher, but I am a season away from putting Tatupu ahead of him if it pans out the way I think it will.

RAY LEWIS BY MILES!!!!!!!!!!
Do i need to remind anyone of Urlacher pissing his pants against the steelers a year ago? when Bettis HAMMERED HIM and made him look like a Junior Varisty kicker. Ray Lewis on the other hand can do everything. He is also the best All time.

I'm pretty sure Urlacher is the consensus best MLB in the NFL, but I would rather have Demeco since he's still improving and has the rest of his career in front of him.

Urlacher and it's not even remotely close, ask any Seahawks fan and they would trade Urlacher for Tatupu in a heartbeat. The MLB position is so weak right now that you basically have to make up competition for Urlacher.

If we still ran a 4-3 Vilma would be closer. However, in the 3-4, yeah, it's not remotely close.

I voted for Demeco Ryans because;
1. I am a non-conformist
2. I've been on his bandwagon for a while, so might as well
3. It's late at night
4. Who cares

i think that Urlacher is the best but id still rather have Ray Lewis. Lewis is a emotional leader and he makes the calls on the field. His passion elevates those around him.

Urlacher is the man, but Ill stick Ray Lewis all day. Hes not quite as dominating as he used to be but he is an emotional leader that Urlacher will never be.

Demeco will be good but he'll never be on the level of Ray Ray or Urlacher. He isnt big enough, fast enough, athletic enough, etc. He isn't that kind of playmaker or huge hitter. He'll be an excellent MLB for the next 10 years I expect but never quite on the elite level, you really have to be a special player to do that. Ryans racks up tackles but theres more to be a dominating LB than that. IMO, next in line = Patrick Willis. Im also a big Buster Davis fan, I think hes the next Jon Vilma.

Or because your a Texans fan...
^^^TheChampIsHere is exactly right. Demeco doesn't have the physical tools to be that good. Hard work and intangibles can only get you so far.
