i just read on espn.com that celtics have called reggie miller who wants to rejoin in the nba. if we get him i will go insane

Some sports just don't cross certain lines. I have not watched the celtics played regularly since the Bird, McHale, Parrish days and not once since Reggie Lewis died.

I will not join any bandwagon if things get hot, I still loyaly follow the Pats, the Sox and the Bruins, even the Revolution ( my kids are big into soccer and I get a little hyped myself come World Cup time) but as a 5 foot 8 white kid who could not jump the Shelbourn Falls phone book, basketball had little appeal after Larry stopped lacin' em up.

The Hawks are a bunch of up-and-comers. Their time will come. Great future there. I like them to do more in the next few years then the Cavs or Magic, that is for damn sure. Josh Johnson was simply unbelievable and Josh Smith can be a total stopper if he can stay focused. Al Horford is the type of guy you hate when he plays you, but respect the hell out of when the game is over. Give him another year in the league and he'll be putting up 17-10 every night (hell he's practically there now).

The Hawks gave the Celtics match-up fits because they were just so athletic and went to the hoop. I think they proved a lot, they just need to work on the confidence and take that next step and they will be fine...

Yea the Hawks have to be one of the most talented teams in the NBA. They almost beat the Celtics, who most consider the league's best. Imagine what they will do if they get some experience under their belt and don't overhaul like the Celts did last offseason.

The hawks are the youngest team in the NBA, they dont have anyone thats 30 on the team. They need leadership and a good coach. They have a little leadership and a mediocre but improving coach. There is a lot of inconsistency with the team but they will get better as they play. They need to resign Josh Smith and Childress.

Hawks Series
Hawks really surprised me how well they played and that it went into game 7. It tells the Hawks that they have a bright future and underachieved this year. Celtics dominated that game 7 and everyother home game. They need to win an away game to win the nba championship, they were lucky.

Cavs Series
Looking foward if they can stop LeBron. KG and Perk have to stop the big men Ilgauskas and Wallace down low to win the series. Rondo and West seem like an even matchup at the point. And Allen Pierce and co should keep up with Jones and Wally behond the three point line. Should be a good series.

Game 1 Tonight 8:00 TNT... Start out with a win please.

great start to the series..... we still won when pierce and allen score a combined 4 points...... their stats will almost add up to lebrons so you can basically call game one a wash

Celtics dominated that game, except for the last half of the 4th quarter. Although we won the game, the lakers gained a little momentum.
