Actually it's 158.3...in the NFL. College has much higher and more ridiculous ratings. Every year I played NCAA, my QBs consistently had 300+ passer ratings for each season.

Ok, if we are being techincal the cap on the NFL passer rating is 158.33333... and the cap on the NCAA passer rating is 1261.6.
