Jarvis Moss... in Steelers Gear
(I am a little tipsy so if my typing is bad I apologize)
So my apartment complex had a big pool party today (I live in Gainesville) and a couple of the football players came. For the most part it was mostly incoming freshman who came, not many big name guys. So I noticed that our (UF's) top RB recruit had a pirates hat on and I got all excited thinkin he was a fan until I remembered he's from Lakeland, FL and thought "oh well he's just wearing it cause it matches". And then as I'm looking at him I see people coming in the gate right behind him. So behind this running back comes Jarvis Moss wearing some board shorts and A STEELERS ***** T SHIRT ON. And then his boy standing next to him was all decked out in black and gold with a pirates hat on.
Now I don't know if that means anything. When I asked him about it he just said "I can't say". But just wanted to let you guys know. Man I don't even know if this is coherent but I hope you all understand it. Good luck to everybody, and one more week till the draft.

I don't want Moss at 15. I would definately want to trade down and pick up some more picks if were looking at Moss.

even as a florida fan, im not so sure that i would want moss at 15 either... late 20's, sure, but 15 is some prime real estate.

I think a trade down to 23-26 would get us some good picks and we'd still probably be able to get Moss if thats the target.
I think Moss is a great player but it would be dumb to reach for him at 15 when I'm sure we could trade down and get an extra pick or two.

Thats if we can trade down for him. Someone has to be willing to trade us. That being said, I think maybe the giants, chiefs or maybe the jets could still trade with us to move up and grab someone if a player falls.

I'd love to get Moss, but not at 15. I've been hearing that denver really likes him at 21, so we might not be able to trade down too far, but I'm thinking we trade our 1 & 3 to the giants for their 1 & 2. The values work out almost idenically, and we'd be able to get Moss before the broncos even think about it.

Two second rounders... I can deal with that. How much cap space do we have to sign these guys though???? Anybody know?

Giants Trade
Who would the Giants be targeting at #15? I don't think it would be Marshawn Lynch since they signed Droughns.
A linebacker?

CB likely if Revis is there as they're supposedly infatuated with him.
However, I really don't care how we trade. I don't want Moss period. I'd rather have Spencer, and take Harvey next year if he comes out.
Harvey is a complete DE where as moss was an edge rusher. I'm not sold on Moss as a first rounder.

i'm a viking fan, but also been a steeler due to the bus being my favorite player growing up. i really hope they don't take jarvis moss at 15, even though i like moss. i don't think he'd be a good 3-4 OLB. i think he just got to bulk up a bit and he'll be a very disruptive 4-3 pass rushing specialist. the player i think they should target as a 3-4 OLB is anthony spencer from purdue, just move down to the late first round if they can and to take him.
