sweet. as you guys may know barlow was traded so gore is our only good runningback.
ive got a crazy idea, try to trade eric johnson for brandon jacobs and a draft pick. just an idea. probably not a good one. just let me know one way or another.
we might also be able to trade for a guy like reggie bush. we also have a center that can be traded. he is high 80s, but hes old and we have one young guy who nearly as good, and david bass who is very young and could be a good developmental guy.

hes an 85 and i thought most MLB's improved when they moved to olb but i may be wrong. i just dont think a team as bad as the niners should waste an 85 on the bench so trade him if my idea is dumb

If you do my trade, you could live with your Starting Cb for this season and draft one during the draft with one of your two 1st round picks, and do the same with FS. then sign a speed back, till you can draft one later on.

Heres The Deal:
so we are trading Johnson, our center(depending on how long hes injured) and our 3rd round pick for detroits 1st,5th,and 6th round picks.
so do we want to pick up anyone from free agency. i will post some likely cantidates at about 12:30 when im done with class. one would be will peterson i think his name is. hes a corner whos 27 years old and like 85 overall but i will have the real numbers for you at around 12:30

Build a 3-4 defense around Joey Porter. They made him real good, and you start with a pass rusher. Your 2nd pick should be Casey Hampton. Then you have pass and run on lock.
Build your D first, then your O. On offense, just build a strong oline and have a good power back with speed like a Fred Taylor, and the rest will take care of itself.
But remember, pass rusher first, NT second to stop the run, Rb 3rd. Thats how you build a good Madden franchise.
