Saturdays 9-11 pm. Just wish Elite XC had a deeper roster.

The rumored main event for their first show is Kimbo vs Ken Shamrock.
Even an old Ken Shamrock would pose an interesting matchup for Kimbo. You'd finally see someone who would not want to stand and trade, but test his submission defense skills IF he can get it to the ground.
Seeing the Ken we all have lately, he'd likely be knocked stupid within the first 30 seconds from Kimbo's power. Afterwards, he'd thank Kimbo for not hurting him anymore so he could enjoy his fat payday.

Silva is a beast of epic proportions. Hendo took the 1st, but Silva absolutely picked him apart in the 2nd. I've NEVER seen Hendo look as bad as he did in that round. Silva stunned him pretty bad and to Hendo's credit, somehow regained his composure after he got caught with that knee. But that RNC was in DEEP. He only had about 15 seconds to hold on, but he would've been taking a nap by the time that bell rang.
For all the 85'ers of the world, go fight at 205 or 170, because you aren't taking Silva's belt anytime soon.

It would be really interesting to see how Silva fought I 205, I think he would have a chance of beating Rampage.

Honestly I can't see anyone beating Silva right now, he may be the best fighter ever. His style is somewhat unorthodox but it seems to work against everything, no one wants to stand and throw punches with him and if you try to take him to the ground eventually your gonna get choked out. After a long night of drinking I still can't think of anyone who matches up well with him, Henderson was my best guess.
btw I probably sound like a Silva nut hugger as Sherdog people would call it, but can anyone thing of someone who could challenge Silva besides GSP?

I think Silva is too big and strong for GSP and i'm GSP's number one fan. The weight difference is just too much.
Right now u'd have to think it would be a wrestler at 205 who would compete because Silva's standup is completely next level and while Henderson didn't do alot of damage to Silva while he had him on the ground, he managed to control his posture and win the round.
Here's who could take him: Randy Couture at 205

i still think BJ Penn is the pound-for-pound best fighter.
no way he'd fight silva though, i dont see him gaining that much weight or silva losing that much weight to take the fight.

Seriously?...Penn over Silva?
Penn isn't that great, I don't know why everything thinks he is a MMA god. He is 3-3 over his last 6 fights with the wins being Renzo Gracie, Jens Pulver & Joe Stevenson, not the highest level of competition.
While Silva has destroyed the last 7 guys he has fought, basically all of them being top competition. his only losses in the last 3 years coming via DQ and a freak Flying Scissor/Heel Hook
