BJ beats Sherk, I'm convinced. In the distance.

I don't see Penn gassing in this one, he's gonna have worked his ass off for this fight.

I think he may not gas, but he will slow down and Sherk wont slow down at all, I think BJ just genetically has bad cardio, while he is gifted at everything else. I love to watch BJ I feel he has the most natural talent ever, but I just have one of those gut feelings that Sherk takes it.
And Fenikz Tito only 2 submission loses were to Frank Shamrock due to strikes and Guy Metzger by guilotine which was his 2nd fight. Lyoto doesnt really have a history of getting submissions other then Soko, but Tito is far more developed on the ground, I highly doubt Lyoto gets a submission. Soko took him down then Lyoto got a imediate reversal, I doubt he can reverse Ortiz.

Main Card Bouts:
-B.J. Penn vs. Sean Sherk - Penn via RNC Round 1
-Lyoto Machida vs. Tito Ortiz Machida via Unanimous decision
-Keith Jardine vs. Wanderlei Silva Jardine via Split decision
-Thiago Silva vs. Antonio MendesSilva via TKO Round 1
-Wilson Gouveia vs. Goran Reljic *UPSET*Reljic via UD
Preliminary Bouts:
-Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou vs. Kazuhiro Nakamura Sokoudjou via UD
-Yoshiyuki Yoshida vs. Jon KoppenhaverYoshida via TKO Round 2
-Rousimar Palhares vs. Ivan Salaverry Palhares via UD
-Shane Carwin vs. Christian Wellisch Carwin via TKO Round 1
-Dong-hyun Kim vs. Jason TanKim via TKO round 1
-Terry Etim vs. Rich ClementiClementi via submission round 2
Some toughies on this card. Im pulling for Silva to win vs Jardine but I think Greg Jackson brings Jardine in with an A+ gameplan. So I give Keith the edge.

what I wanna know is why is Soko and Nakamura on the preliminary card and Wilson Gouveia vs. Goran Reljic is on the main card.
I disagree w/ Lyoto VS. Ortiz, I dont think Lyoto can defend Titos takedowns, and Lyoto has a history of not finishing opponents, Lyoto cant KO Tito, I got Ortiz getting a double then GnP his way to a decision.

Shark asked for it when he fell up against the cage. It looked like BJ was backing away and then when Sherk hit the cage he then took advantage. Although BJ, is great on the ground I think Sherk should have used his strength advantage and tried to get Penn on the ground. BJ just kept hitting him the face and he was taking it all fight long.
Silva really impressed me. I didnt think he could make such quick work of Jardine

I thought Jardine was going to get KTFO in the first, but I didnt think it would happen even quicker than the Alexander fight. The guy just crumples whenever the gap is closed on him. As long as you tell yourself don't be afraid of his reach it becomes much easier to beat him.

Machida is a beast, I am glad Wand is back, and I thought Sherk should of shot 4 takedowns.

The problem is that Sherk couldnt take him down. BJ has one of the best takedown defense games. Lol i feel bad for Sherk because he has very quick hands buts his reach is too short.
I was also pissed because Tito narrowly missed the triangle/armbar. Machida is very respectful but i hate his fighting style.

The last thing Sherk wanted to do was go to the ground. BJ's jiu jitsu is superior to Sherk's wrestling game and BJ would've forced him into submission and Sherk didn't want to have to tap out.

Man Silva just murder Keith. But I didn't like that fact he held his neck when he was striking him.
