Dude, stop being such a hater. Women put on some of the more entertaining fights. I get tired of ppl talking **** because they don't understand the intricacies of the sport, most commonly grappling.

I can tell you don't know by the things you say. You may know but obviously don't understand, two separate things. I don't need to defend women's mma. The fights speak for themselves, they're usually some of the most entertaining and most technically sound. Just as this one was.

Meh. I won't argue with you. Its totally stupid. And you gonna judge me based on what I post on this thread?? That's a joke. I barely post in this thread and when I do its usually to cheer for a fighter. Good job also omitting the part that says they are some of the most technically sound.

It's your argument, kid, you're the one that decided to attack me based on absolutely nothing other than the hard on you have for one of the women that was fighting. If you wanna go ahead and break down the technical aspect of that fight and other women's fights, we can do that. You can start off by explaining how you feel they're somehow more technically sound than others (and i assume you mean men's fights because you used women as a whole when defending them).

I think the stoppage was fair, Fedor was flatened followed up by 2 huge punches. When he rolled over it was apparent that he could probably continue but that was after Herb stopped it, Hendo would have pounded him out anyways.

I didn't say that they were more technically sound than the men. I said they're usually some of the more technical fights which is true. A lot of the times the men will mix in technique with some brute strength. Then you got the guys with almost 0 technique a la Leonard Garcia. But women don't have the strength to overcome a lack of technique so their fights will tend to be more technical.

I apologize for the attack, nothing personal or nothing like that. Just get a little dumbfounded when I hear the crowd boo and I sit here wondering if they even know what's going on. Mostly because I do have a huge wrestling bias/homer.

So what now for Fedor? Retirement? Don't think he's willing to drop down to 205 or anything and who knows if he even has the skill to do it anymore. :'(

Fedor was on his stomach and was waiting for a chance to flip around. He was never out. Herb should have given him more time because he's been through far worse. Fedor on his back is extremely dangerous and the way he was flipping around, he likely would have swept Dan and recovered.

Props to Hendo, though. He came into the fight in the best shape I've ever seen him.

Herb's a great ref, but he panicked and made the wrong decision to stop that fight.

I think a lot of LHW's would be willing to fight Fedor at a catchweight like tonight. Guys like Mousasi and Mike Kyle would gladly fight Fedor, with that said though Fedor should just retire. He's too much of a legend to put him in there with guys like Chad Griggs and Shane Del Rosario.

After tonight, I don't see any way he retires. I think he was ok going out the way he lost to Bigfoot, but he clearly wasn't happy with the stoppage.

I understand all the intricacies of the sport, but I couldn't care less about woman's MMA.

He was out cold. It's a snap knockout, when he stood up he was wobbly as all hell. Fighters who suffer that kind of knockout don't even know it's happened, like Liddell when he fought jackson the 2nd time or when Brad Tavares got soccer kicked in the head during TUF.

It's funny you say he would've recovered and swept, he was unconcious and took too undefended strikes. It's a solid, fair stoppage.
