Neither of them are better than Reggie IMO and Deion and TJ are close.

What makes Reggie so much better than TJ in your mind? This year in 4 games TJ has 4 TD's and is averaging 88 YPG. Wayne has 2 TD and is at 84 YPG and much of his numbers were thanks to yesterday.
Last year TJ averaged 68 YPG with 7 TD to Waynes 65 YPG and 5 TD.
You're either overrating Wayne or underrating TJ.

When did i say he was a lot better than TJ? I just said I would take Reggie over Glenn and Deion and that I would take TJ over them too but it would be closer.

It is TJ, his physicality and size alone gives him the edge. Better hands than Wayne (Wayne does have good hands), excellent blocker, an invaluable asset to any team in the NFL. He can grab the jump ball, whenever Carson get hit him in Stride. Reggie is always getting hit because its just Peyton. Reggie deserves all the credit, but he doesn't really have a choice, whether or not to catch those balls...

But TJ Houshmandzadeh is the number one in cincinnati!
In four games he has: 30 rec, 352 yards, 4 touchdowns
Chad Johnson in six games: 30 rec, 373 yards, 1 touchdown

Reggie Wayne is slightly better in my opinion.
It's true that he benefits from having Peyton and Marvin, but TJ has Palmer and Chad, both of whom are pretty good themselves.
I just think Wayne is a better deep threat then TJ, though TJ is by no means a liability in that regard himself.
Wayne has finished in top 5 in ypc in the last 2 years, and has a GREAT 18.5 average this year as well.

This is actually a pretty good debate.
Peyton puts the balls on the money almost every time and TJ has a knack for making the more acrobatic catch. They both have hands like glue and neither of them has top notch breakaway speed. TJ is tougher with the ball in his hands and from what I see, he is more willing to go over the middle. Can't go wrong with either but I'd take TJ.

Yet, both of them are good deep threats. They are more quick then fast, and both are very good route runners. Both of those qualities are more important then just straight-line speed.

I like T.J. in this one. He is a great possesion reciever and has put up excellent numbers this season with missing the first two games.
