great first drive with Mark at the helm. Beatiful pass to Clowney. Nice work by Keller thus far. Nice to see the attacking defense get to the QB. Looks like Kerry Rhodes will be getting after the QB this year.

Your QB of the future looked pretty good out there on the field. You gained a fan of Mark Sanchez, cause I'm really pulling for him to succeed and be an icon of the Spanish community in football, given that the ehnicity is so underrepresented in the league.

That 1st game against the Texans could be more trouble than it should be. We'll be without Pace and Ellis, two of the stalwarts of our defense. Hopefully we'll still be able to generate loads of pressure without them.

I was impressed with

Mark Sanchez - Looks less like Matt Leinart and more like Carson Palmer.

Dave Clowney - Yeah yeah I know, its the preseason.

Calvin Pace - Its only 4 games..... its only 4 games..... its only 4 games.....

Overload Blitzes - Are fun to watch when you're rooting for the defense. :D

Who I was unimpressed with

Kellen Clemens - 4 completions for 24 yards. This is why the Jets needed Sanchez. I don't think Clemens was a poor man's Pennington when he was a draft prospect. But having learned from Pennington, he is a poor man's Pennington now.

Vernon Gholston - I'm really close to just writing him off a bust and eating my crow given that I wanted the Jets to draft him.

Eh, don't feel bad about Gholston, he did more this game than any other. I actually saw him chasing a QB!!!

I was very impressed by ILB Kenwin Cummings. He was all over the field making plays. I want to see some more of him but I think he is close of playing his way onto the roster.

He's really solid, though hopefully he doesn't have to see the field too much. Looks to be a good fit in Ryan's system.

Saw it out there so I had to post it, more rumors of going after a vet WR from Cimini. Apparently there have been "discussions". He mentions Marshall and Bowe, though both seem to be unlikely and Bowe is purely speculation. Really depends what they'd give up given the team needs draft picks to stay young and improve depth. Still highly doubt anything happens, but I'd love Bowe.

The Sanchez Era Part II happens tonight. Tough defense to play against, so i won't be to disappointed if he doesn't look as good as last game. Very excited to see the game.

i hope it doesn't get too intense between our teams in week 3. the giants are gonna come out fired up bc of the embarrassment against the Bears. and the Jets will be fired up bc of the rivalry.

i just hope both teams come out of it healthy.

Marky Mark is having a hard time, but LW looks fantastic this drive. I really hope he gets extended.

Yeah it should be interesting, he's done well against the Ravens in the past but a lot of the first team is out of there so it's tough to compare. Leon still looked fantastic that drive, really carried the offense. EXTEND HIM NOW!!!! I want an announcement after the game lol.

Yeah. I had hopes for Lowry as a long term option at CB, but he doesn't look like it today.
