One less CB on the market: New York Giants reached agreement with cornerback Terrell Thomas.

Ya I was just about to post that too... I was hoping he would have been a cheaper option at cb, especially after Goodell robbing 10 mil out of the piggy bank

A little over 6hrs...Obviously excited about seeing who the Cowboys sign, but it's kind of fun seeing all of the player movement.

For those who are hoping Spencer goes elsewhere...In this offseason that makes STRONG words of support from JG, RR, and now Eberflus.
Solid breakdown of film either way :)

I doubt we sign anybody today. We never act that fast.

Please, Please, Please. No Finnegan.
I Just saw an updated list of CB on the market. I would take all of them over that dirty player.
If Brandon Carr can't be had, what do you guys think about Aaron Ross? I would like him for a little less money.

No thanks on Ross. I'm just not sold on him at all. I think he's more of a complimentary CB than anything else. We need someone to man the outside.

A lot of last minute deals getting done before FA begins. TT, Colson, Herremans.

With Marques Colston getting a new deal that just made Laurent Robinson one place higher on the WR food chain. We aren't keeping him. Oh well, atleast that is where the penalty money would have gone. Not worth it anyway.
Plus, we might get that penalty money or at least some back if they fight it.

Buehler just got cut.
The only reason I think Newman hasn't been cut yet is because I think they want to make sure they get a CB to replace him first.

Well no, if they cut him today it counts as a June 1st cut because the new league year has started.
Listen to this if you get a chance, it's 10 minutes:

Great stuff from Ed Werder. For all you Laurent Robinson fans, he isn't coming back. He said the organization thinks he is going to get a 5-6 million dollar deal and they aren't coming close to matching that.

It was time, but I have to say it's bitter sweet. I've always been a TNew fan.

I too am a little sad. He was a good corner for a long time, the one guy we counted on year in and year out. It was time, but it really is bitter-sweet.
Here is my final hope list
CB Aaron Ross
S Reggie Nelson
G Grubbs
If we get these three, I will be happy. Would love to see Brandon Carr, but I think, generally speaking, it is better to get more upgrades at multiple positions than fewer big names.
The Texans did this last year. Instead of bringing in the big name CB, the brought in a slightly lesser valued FA at CB and S. It worked out well for them. Improving their pass rush was probably the biggest difference, but I am not sure we can look forward to that in FA since we kept Spencer.

DING DING DING DING...the bell has sounded, let's come out swinging and not waste our punches. A few jabs, a few crosses and one big uppercut.

Indeed, here we go.. I don't know how I feel about those restructures of Orland and Free though, because their cap hit will be bigger over the next few years. The cap is going to skyrocket though so oh well.

Sheftler is reporting Finnegan's first visit is with the Rams..possible reunion with Fisher? Whether Finnegan or Carr sign first should dictate the asking price for the other.
