He was doing well for a while, but he has flamed out recently. I do think he is more comfortable as a face though...seems so much more real and loves having the crowd behind him. They need to strap Swagger and revisit Del Rio's angle though.

Former WWE superstar Chris "The Masterpiece" Masters saved his mother from burning to death by uprooting a tree with his bare hands and using it as a battering ram to enter her house.

Masters -- real name Chris Mordetzky -- tells us, he rushed to his mother's L.A. home yesterday after his uncle called and said a neighbor had gone crazy and barricaded himself inside her house.

When Chris showed up, the neighbor was shouting through the front door that he would burn the place down if anyone tried to gain entry.

Chris says he tried talking sense into the guy, but he wasn't having it -- so Chris called the cops ... but when they showed up, the neighbor set the house on fire.

Chris jumped into hero mode -- tearing a tree out of the ground and tossing it through a window.

Chris reached through the window and removed his mom from the inferno ... at which point police rushed in and arrested the neighbor on arson charges.

The man is currently still in custody. It's unclear why he snapped.

Former WWE writer Brian Gewirtz, who writes most of The Rock's material, has also been stepping up on the creative side. There is still no real push for Paul Heyman to join the creative team, although he does work with various wrestlers who seek his advice.

Paul Bearer’s sons signed off on the usage of their father’s death in the build to CM Punk vs. The Undertaker. TMZ caught up with Bearer’s son Michael to ask him about it.

“We felt that dad would have wanted us at RAW last week and agreed to the angle … We knew Dad wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.”

Made an ultimate megacard for another site, no limit on how many matches you could do, so I went a little crazy. Before you read it though, I want you to know that this isn't just based on who I think the best performers are. I don't think that Samoa Joe belongs on an alltime great list above The Road Warriors, but Joe is on this card and The Road Warriors arent. It was about designing what I thought the perfect card would be, and it was also about matchups. As awesome as The Road Warriors are, there really arent that many appealing dream matchups for them. Anyways, heres the card:

1. Cruiserweights versus X-Division
Rey Misterio Jr., Dean Malenko, and Eddy Guerrero (Circa 1997) defeat AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, and Samoa Joe (Circa 2005). The backbone of WCW against the backbone of TNA in what would be a very fast paced, crisp, well wrestled opener to get the crowd going.

2. World Tag Team Championship
Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard w/ JJ Dillon (Circa 1987) © defeat The British Bulldogs (Circa 1985) to retain the titles. To me, the two greatest tag teams ever when it comes to in-ring ability. I have two tag team matches on the card, this one would be the great wrestling match.

3. Tables, Ladders, and Chairs
Edge w/ Lita (Circa 2006) defeats Jeff Hardy (Circa 2009) and Bully Ray (Circa 2011). It's really hard to leave the other halves of their teams, but I didn't want to just re-do a match we've already seen, and that would be impossible to duplicate or top. Therefore, I took the most successful singles guy from each team in their best incarnation, and put them in a 3-Way. This would be the plunder match of the night, lots of weapons being used, wood being shattered, etc.

4. Intercontinental Championship Elimination Match
Curt Hennig w/ Bobby Heenan (Circa 1990) defeats Ricky Steamboat © (Circa 1987), Chris Jericho (Circa 2008), and Daniel Bryan (Circa 2012) to win the title. Essentially, four of the best workers of all time who aren't really considered top guys, even though they've all had substantial amounts of success. I'd have Bryan eliminated first by Steamboat, Jericho eliminated second by Steamboat, and Ricky looking like he'd pull off the huge feat in retaining his title by eliminating all 3 opponents, only for Hennan to get involved and Hennig to cheat his way to the win.

5. D-Generation X versus The nWo
The Outsiders (Circa 1996) defeat The New Age Outlawz (Circa 1998). Bulldogs vs Horsemen was the wrestling match, this is the attraction match. I know that this would probably be really bad when it comes to actual wrestling, but hold for hold wrestling isn't the only thing that I love. These guys would bring the entertainment value, and id love to hear Scott Hall do a survey for DX versus nWo.

6. Singles Showdown
Shawn Michaels (Circa 2007) defeats Randy Savage w/ Miss Elizabeth (Circa 1987). One of a few"yea, this is going to be amazing" matches on the card, featuring guys who are not only fantastic wrestlers, but dynamic personalities as well. Both extremely well rounded, they'd tell a great story while putting on a flawless wrestling exhibition. Shawn hits a Superkick to win the match.

7. Grudge Match
The Rock (Circa 2000) defeats Roddy Piper (Circa 1985). A match that looks pretty weird on paper, it's not a match I ever really considered before putting this card together and ending up without a match for either guy. But then you consider that Rock was a top face and Piper was a top heel during the two biggest booms in wrestling history, and you have the makings of a classic encounter, especially when you consider what the buildup between these two might include, given their ability to talk.

8. Submission Match
Bret Hart (Circa 1994) defeats Kurt Angle (Circa 2003) with the Sharpshooter. I mean, how could you not have this match? I'm someone who thinks the perfect card is well rounded, with several different types of matches and stories being told throughout the night, and this, along with Michaels versus Savage, would carry the show in terms of hold for hold match quality. When you talk about pure technical skill, these are the two absolute best in my eyes. Give them about 25-30 minutes and let them do their thing.

9. Dream Match
The Undertaker (Circa 2007) defeats Sting (Circa 1997). The spectacle of the show. Probably wouldn't be a great match, but who cares? I'd basically melt as soon as the two came face to face. The heart and soul of WWE vs the heart and soul of WCW. Doesn't get much better than the idea of these two colliding.

10. Grudge Match
Steve Austin (Circa 1997) defeats CM Punk (Circa 2011). I know this is a bit of a cliche match at this point, and it's really hard to pass up on Hogan versus Austin as the ultimate main event, but these two just seem perfect for one another. And not just for the straight edge versus beer drinking redneck factor. Both guys at their peak of awesomeness in a storytellers dream match.

11. No Holds Barred Match
Triple H (Circa 2000) defeats Ric Flair (Circa 1989). I thought long and hard about what to do with Flair, as he is probably the greatest heel of all time. However, I went the 1989 babyface route from his feud against Terry Funk. However, I replaced Funk with Triple H, whose 2000 run on top might be my favorite single year run of all time. The guy was just the perfect heel. While the TLC match would bring out the big spots and the weapons, this would be the old school NWA style bloodbath. I'm sure most of you hate that I have HHH winning, but I didn't want the top of the card to be a babyface win fest, and 2000 HHH is just that damn good.

12. World Heavyweight Championship
Hulk Hogan (Circa 1987) © defeats John Cena (Circa 2007). Yea, I can't believe I have John Cena headlining an all time card. But then I thought about it. Hogan would come into this match riding the wave of 1980s Hulkamania to mega popularity and extreme crowd support, so he's obviously the babyface. But Cena would be the babyface too. But... he wouldnt be. Because while playing the face, 2007 version of John Cena would be the greatest heel adversary that Hulk Hogan could ever face. Ever. That's what I love about Cena. He's both their top face and their top heel at all times, and can be matched up against anyone because of it. Here, Cena plants Hogan with the AA, only for Hogan to kick out after 1, Hulk up, drop the leg on Cena, and retain his title. It certainly wouldnt be a mat classic, but that doesnt matter. One of my favorite matches ever is Hogan vs Rock, and I see the crowd reaction to this match being very much the same, which is what pro wrestling is all about, making this the perfect match to headline my own personal all-time Mania-type megacard.

As much as I like Booker T, I was a little disappointed that he was one of the panelists. After all, we see him every week as GM of Smackdown. I would have preferred Edge, Rowdy Roddy Piper, or Ric Flair.

Flair was supposed to be there, but he was hospitalized.

I could be wrong but I don't think Edge has a Legends contract like the rest of those guys.

Last I heard he wanted more money than they were willing to pay but that was awhile ago.

The new WWE title is growing on me. It's still not great but a million times better than the old one.

I miss the Winged Eagle title. :(

Woman's Match
Sensational Sherri vs. Trish Stratus.

Not to sound sexist, but there are few woman I would consider great workers as opposed to just OK. Sherri and Stratus were great. The buildup before the card could include the mildly attractive Sherri claiming to be more beautiful than Trish. The usually level headed Trish wouldn't care much about that, but wants to prove she's the better wrestler. It's a close match, but the Canadian beauty Trish wins with the Chick Kick (love the corny name for that move).

Funny Match
Santino Marella vs. George "The Animal" Steele.

After a minute or so of the two lovable goofballs staring at each other and not knowing what to make of their opponent, Steele eventually uses the Flying Hammerlock to get the submission win after a short match. George then tears open the turnbuckle, eats some of its contents, and then shares some of it with Santino, who tastes the stuffings and immediately spits it out. In subsequent TV episodes, the two become friends and their zany antics are filmed on location, causing havoc wherever they go.

Giant Showdown
The Big Show vs. Big John Studd

Show is a face (he changes so much it's hard to keep up). Studd and his manager Bobby "The Brain" Heenan lie to the young fans and claim than Studd beat Andre the Giant during their feud, and he will easily dispose of The Show. (Michael Cole points out to the viewers that Studd never beat Andre.) After a lot of shoving around and power moves (and of course not much of a match), The Big Show lands the KO Punch. Heenan foolishly attacks Show, and gets knocked out too.

Speed vs. Speed
Dolph Ziggler vs. Koko B. Ware

The Showoff claims to be better than The Birdman because "I have a sexy girlfriend in A.J. and all Koko has is a stupid parrot." At one point during the match, A.J. Lee gets to close to Ware's pet Franky, who pecks at her and she screams bloody murder (if they can train Franky to do that without poking her eyes out like in the movie "The Birds"). Later on, Big E Langston stands in front of an attempt by Ware to fly down of Ziggler. Other than that, Dolph wins cleanly with the Zig-Zag.

Of course, none of these are main event matches. But they could make for some interesting additions to Comahan's card.

Just announced on WWE.com. An 8 person mixed tag team match for Wrestlemania. Brodus Clay, Tensai, Cameron and Naomi will face Team Rhodes Scholars and The Bella Twins. Such a waste of Cody and Damien.

Yeah, said that weeks ago. Thought they might've already started that process already by having Kaitlyn and The Bellas interact a little more but I guess that'll be one of the big things that usually happens post 'Mania. I'd love to see an IC title feud with Cody and Sandow, with that said. It's about time they put some gold on Damien.

That's for sure. Three signs that your wrestling career isn't going well:
1. You're in a mixed tag match.
2. You're teaming with or wrestling a midget.
3. You're wearing a turbin.

It's about time they put some gold on Damien.
