Man I sent out a bulletin on myspace saying RIP Chris and I got like 8 messages saying "Yeah, RIP to the guy who murdered his family"

I am recognizing the man for his achievements in the ring. Nothing more, nothing less.

This is really surreal. I don't even know how to comment on this, honestly, but I will say I don't understand how you can do something like this to your own child under any circumstances.

Obviously he wasn't in his right mind, because you could clearly see how much his kids meant to him whenver he won the world title (whenever it was I don't remember), but I just can't wrap my mind around the fact that he smothered his 7 year old child.

Well said sir. This is similar to the OJ Simpson saga, despite all that happened he is still a Hall of Famer and was one hell of a running back. Chris Benoit was a great wrestler and champion and nobody can take that away no matter what the WWE tries to do. The squared circle will not be the same without him gracing its presence.

Which is why I think Woman did it.

Wouldn't the time frame fit?

She does that to Daniel on Saturday, calls Chris and tells him something is wrong, he comes home and finds out Sunday, kills her Sunday and then takes his life Monday.

Damn I hope Chavo releases the text messages sent to him by Chris.

Theres no way you can glorify his actions, but I think its very reasonable to still respect what the man did in the ring. He gave it everything he had everytime he had a match.

Also, from what I saw on that news conference earlier, she appears to have died late friday night, while the child appears to have died maybe early saturday.

Benoit hung himself Sunday, they think.

Nobody knows what all is true or not, I guess.

If he had just killed himself it would have been tragic, but the coward took out his wife, and his 7 year old son. At that point, I don't care if he was entertaining or a great wrestler. Remembering him for the great wrestler that he was is in no way, shape, or form glorifying the tragic events that occurred. Why is that so hard to comprehend?

You call him a coward and yet you don't even know the circumstances of what happened? In fact no one may know what really happened so why don't you save the speech for someone who may actually give a damn? I wouldnt say using steroids in wrestling is cheating...I'd say about 9/10 of those guys are on steroids or HGH.

As for your Hitler reference, way to go to an extreme to prove a moronic point. In that case I guess you are not a proud American citizen because the founding fathers literally stole the original colonies from the British and since stealing is wrong you can't be a proud American then right?

Well then explain your support for the rap industry then? Because we all know that most of them are not pillars of the community and yet you support them? Who cares if it was fake or not, that shouldn't even be a point in this argument. And the steroid rate in the WWE is huge IMO. Just look at those guys.

No one is saying what he did is justified and we are not glorifying is actions. We're glorifying what he did in the ring. And to compare him to Hitler is absolutely pathetic and ridiculous. Hitler killed millions with his "brilliant strategic planning." Benoit wrestled people in the ring. There is absolutely no correlation between those two and to even try and relate Benoit to Hitler is IMO disgusting.

What Benoit did (or supposedly did) does not even begin to compare to what Hitler did.

it still seems as if you're trying to block people from saying how disturbed of a human being he was to kill his family. At some point you have to realize that it no longer matters what he did in the ring as a performer, he's now a murderer and will always be this. I'm sure they wouldn't release what happend and blame him for both deaths if they didn't have evidence he did it. His hair or skin was probably on the pillow used to smother a harmless 7 year old child. This guy is pitiful drugs or not, it's no excuse, that's a lame cop out to defend him. He took the ultimate ***** road by taking his life, he should have suffered in prison and been beaten for this.

They seem to have pieced it together. The only loose end really seems to be why he did it, not if.
