UNC isn't giving anything away. Tyrese Rice is simply goin' nuts today. When someone is as hot as he is, you almost have to sit back and enjoy it because their isn't much you can do about it.
Lawson needs to come in and take it right at him. He needs to test out his ankle and he needs to see if he can pick up a couple of cheap ones on Tyrese. So far, he has done squat besides a couple good passes in his time on the court.
But here they come ..

Ty looks like he is breaking in his ankle right now. Playing Tyrese right in his chest and doing a great job on him right now. Nice blow by as well.
Incredible game. If anyone isn't watching this, I'd tune to ABC right now.

kwilk, your team would have imploded with that many egos on one team. Mayo is bad enough by himself, but to add Beasley? Then you throw in Walker and Patterson? SHEESH! I would not wish that on any team.

Gotta give credit to Tywon Lawson for stepping up. He babied that ankle in the 1st half, but he stepped up in the 2nd half with his defense on Tyrese Rice.
Incredible come back by those boys.

If things play out as they should...
Florida and Ohio St. won't be in the tournament... Curious to know when the last time the two championship game teams didn't make the tournament the next season.

ASU destroyed USC. Except OJ Mayo destroyed ASU. Funny that USC almost never wins when Mayo scores over 30 points. =D

Heh heh, how about that loss to UConn today?
Woohoo!
You guys certainly did make it close there towards the end though. You actually kind of looked like us this past month. We always got down big and rallied to come back and win. Fortunately, we pulled it together and won.
Price was a beast as usually. Adrien really came on strong at the end there too to help us get the victory. I think with our size and depth we can really do well in the tourny.

I don't think they were really ever overrated. Everyone knew the team was Michael Beasley. It's too bad his team can't come up in the clutch. Good job by Kansas to defend their home court.
And holy crap Duke. Holy crap. Scared me quite a bit.

Beasley has come out and said he wants to stay next year, whether he actually does remains to be seen...

Illinois State may have gotten an at large bid with their win last night at Southern Illinois. SIU was playing their best basketball all year and were on a 5 game win streak. SIU has been 61-1 at home in conference since 2001 and now are 61-2.
ISU finishes the regular season with an RPI of 34, a record of 22-8 and 13-5 in conference play with season sweeps of Southern Illinois and Creighton.

Hopefully Tennessee puts it on Kentucky today so we don't fall past #3 in the polls.
