9 p.m. EST ASU takes on Florida in the NIT. I don't care what anyone says about the NIT because this should be a great game.
Also, ASU did an awesome thing by buying 3,500 tickets to the game and giving them away to any students, faculty, staff, or any person with an ASU ticket stub.

Wright-You want to link me to where it says that Self promised him that or just continue citing outlandish stories without merit?
Rush- Link me to these stories...also, Kansas is a lot easier to get into than Illinois
Arthur-You should really read up on this recruitment, his decision to go to Kansas and his reasoning is pretty well-documented
Quite whining because Self left your program for greener pastures, just because your program can't get over .500 in a mediocre conference, doesn't mean you have to whine about how Self uses 'negative recruitment'

The Self defender comes in. Rush didn't have the core classes to get into Illinois and many other schools, yet he found a way into Kansas somehow, someway...Hmmm.
I am friends with people who knew Julian and he and his mom were told that Champaign was a racist place and his mom was told that she wouldn't have to pay for anything. Go watch his interview with Scott after he was selected, he made an interesting comment in terms of "money."
Collins was set to verbal to Illinois on his visit, and for some reason pulled out and committed to Kansas on his only visit there.
Arthur's recruitment I'll give a pass on because I've just heard hear-say on that one but again, that's another which waved red flags.
Chalmers' dad was hired by the University, um yea that's shady. Just like what Sampson did with Eric Gordon's coaches.
Self bashed Illinois when he left and recruited on Illinois' dime for Kansas.
Oh and Bertrand (4 star), Richardson (4 star), Griffey (4 star), Richmond (5 star), Head (5 star), Simpson (4 star), Paul (soon to be 5 star after this AAU season, best player in Illinois), Keller (3 star JUCO), and Legion (4 star). Everyone but Keller is a top 100 player in his class, the best recruiting run of anyone outside of UNC in the nation the past year.

Haha I don't think so. I've seen Paul 5 times and he's very, very good. Sorry, I meant to say 2009, not the entire state. The best in the state is Richmond, talent wise.
Smith is very good, but I'd still take Paul over him because of Brandon's upside. Kid is crazy athletic and keeps getting better. Brandon is learning the game right now and plays are a very mediocre team where he's forced to do everything. In his first year of varsity basketball he put up 20ppg.
Paul has been the buzz of the state this year along with Head and Smith. And scouts are raving about him, Paul is anything but overrated.

richmond is moving to evanston by the way, since he got kicked off of his HS team. I only know this cause my dad and brother work at Waukegan HS.
I just dont think paul is that good, its probably because i am a Zion grad, and we hate warren. But i think smith is going to be top 3 in the state. he already has offers from UK, Florida, IL, Wisc, Texas A&M.

Yea I think you're a little biased. Brandon is legit, he would have been a national recruit had he not committed early. I know Texas and Florida were hot on his trail before he verballed to us. Assuming he stays healthy Brandon will blow up this AAU season and likely become a high 4 star, if not a 5 star prospect.
He put up 36 on Iman Shumpert, who is going to Georgia Tech and is a burger boy. So yea the kid can play.
Crandall Head is moving to Whitney Young as well, so both of our '10 guys are transferring schools. Hopefully Jereme stays at Evanston, I assume he would considering they have a really good program.

Well yea I know that, but he's been to 3 schools in 3 years now, and that's what I worry about.

LOL...Ok you just repeated the exact same thing in your previous post.
I don't see anything shady about Collins changing his commitment from Illinois to Kansas, that stuff happens all the time
Like I said, Kansas is a very easy school to get into...a lot easier to get into when compared to Illinois.
Also, it's not like Chalmers' dad was just some bum off the street, he was a very successful high school coach
So you heard hear say that Self told Wright that Champaign was racist, great evidence...I wouldn't call Champaign racist, but it's certainly not the most diverse campus in the nation.

Oh and for all of you who profess Bo Ryan to be one of the greatest coaches in the game...Here's a fun fact: He's never beaten better than a #9 seed in the tourney

FYI...Bo Ryan has the best winning percentage of all active coaches (Div. I, II, and III) so I would say he is a damn good coach

Oh don't get me wrong, Ryan is a good coach, but I don't get how people say he's one of the best coaches in NCAA

UMASS v. Cuse on ESPN. Umass by 8. Umass could be the first team ever to win twice in the Carrier Dome in one season. Gary Forbes is the best player in the game
