Can we officially kill any discussion of Luke Harangrody being the next Tyler Hansbrough?

Dom Cheek to announce his decision this week. It's down to Kansas, Memphis, Villanova, Pitt, and Rutgers. Big get for whatever school he decides to go to. I can't make up my mind on where I think he's going to go to. Lots of factors in the favor of pretty much every school on his list, some more than others, so it's going to be interesting to see what the final call is.

Luke Harangody isn't anywhere close to Tyler Hansbrough and never will be.

It bugs me too. We're talking about a top 10 player all time in NCAA Mens Basketball history, a guy who has been dominant since day 1, and luke Harangody, who's had 1 good year.

ESPN just figures both are just big white guys with average athleticism and pro potential so they have to be the same

Update on Cheek, he'll be announcing this Friday. Really no major signs pointing one way or another right now, just a waiting game at this point.

I've convinced myself at this point he's going to Villanova. It's be cool if he came to KU and reunited with Tyshawn Taylor but doubtful IMO

Lots of Villanova people are pretty optimistic about it, but I have believed he's going to Kansas for quite awhile now. Perhaps it's just because I'm being pessimistic, or it's what happened with Tyreke Evans last year. Regardless it's probably going to come down to Kansas or Villanova, with Pitt as a dark horse. I think Memphis is a mistake for him and Rutgers really doesn't have much going for it right now.

I truly think X should have gone to Kansas, but I guess you can't blame him for wanting to play with his brother. Ironically, if 'Nova gets Cheek the reason could have something to do with the fact that he was one of many for Kansas but "the guy" Villanova wanted at the wing spot.

I'm not sure whether your signature is a pregnant cripple with her gut hanging out or a gymnast.

He's been tremendous towards the tail end of this one. Had a really tough game shooting thus far but he made a couple when it really mattered.

We all know Curry is money I knew he was gonna heat up and kill us defensively. I know our top 2 guards were out but can anyone explain to me how Bob Huggins ran what was pretty much an iso offense for 30 minutes? So frustrating. Ebanks is gonna be a monster in a year or two.

HUGE test for Villanova here against Texas, time to see how they can play against a real team. Hopefully their lack of depth right now doesn't come back to bite them, and they manage to keep it tight at the very least and perhaps even pull out the win.

Scottie Reynolds baby, he better do me proud. I'd like to see Corey Fisher take his game to another level like I know he is capable of.

Fisher has been considerably better this season, much more under control than last year. His assist numbers won't be there because he shares the rock with Scottie so much, but he shows good vision. Great getting up and down the floor in transition, does a fantastic job getting to the hoop though he could stand to finish better once he gets there, and he shoots the ball well. Picks up some ticky tacky fouls but he's aggressive defensively and does a nice job picking up steals. With his quickness, strength, shooting ability, handle, and passing ability there's no reason he can't become an elite college player. All that's missing really is explosiveness getting to the hoop, but he's so crafty if he manages to finish he can get away with not being quite so explosive.
Still think Villanova's lack of depth, especially with bigs, is going to hurt them. Unless Sutton's redshirt comes off, Drummond transferring leaves Villanova with no big bodies.
