Jordan's a good prospect if he could shore up his handle and get a consistent shot. He's got the athletic ability and he's very strong, definitely a D1 prospect.

Battle will keep you competitive because he's one of the best players in the league but you'll need more than him next year.

We have Taylor Battle, Chris Babb, Andrew Jackson, and Jeff Brooks will probably be 4 of our 5. Not the greatest, but it will do and we could potentially be better.

PSU will be fine if DJ Jackson can play consistently well, instead of showing flashes. Andrew Jones really imporved his play as the season went on and should be able to put in 14 and 8 if he can stay out of fould trouble. Babb can definitely shoot and he's more versatile then Danny Morissey. Jeff Brooks would be a much better player if he abandoned his jump shot, its seriously the worst I've ever seen at the college level. He also needs to put on some muscle. From what I've heard, Frazier should be able to immediately slide into Pringle's role and score at will in transition and hopefully will be a better passer. Marshall was hurt last year so he's a wait and see kinda player. Overall I think this team won't drop if too much if at all. An NCAA birth is a possibility but 2011 is when they are gonna be scary good.

Well, Iowa is going to suck for the foreseeable future.

Jr. Guard Jermaine Davis transferring to Minnesota State.
Soph. Guard Jake Kelly cannot comment yet, but is rumored to have asked for his release papers this morning to transfer to Indiana State.
Soph. Guard Jeff Peterson rumored to have asked for his release papers this morning as well.
Jr. Forward/Center David Palmer rumored to be leaving as well.

Yay.

Looks like Lance is heading to Kansas, huge get for Self. He's got a nice class coming in with Elijah Johnson and Thomas Robinson. If Sherron and Cole stay next year, we are going to be sick.

By all accounts, Billy Gillispie will be fired shortly... Probably Friday. Guess he's our Matt Daugherty, a lot of similarities between the two.

Donovan is going to get the full efforts.

Wait, he hasn't been fired yet? I heard on the radio that he got fired today. Maybe they jumped the gun a bit.

UK President Lee Todd said there will be no announcement until Friday.

I think Donovan is our guy. Apparently it'll be a full on push for him or Calipari.

According to preps he is most likely to sign with Kansas but he's going to announce at the All America game.

I'm not familiar with how Pitino left Kentucky... whether it was on good terms or whatever. Why wouldn't they go after him?

Pitino left on VERY good terms, people cried when he left... lol. He's made his home in Louisville, he's not going to be coaching much longer. It's time for both parties to start a new run with a different partner. He does and has helped advise on the UK coaching search as he still is in contact many at UK.

It's gotta be Calipari, Donovan or Travis Ford. Ford would instantly accept, Donovan I think would probably accept and Calipari is plenty happy in Memphis.

EDIT: Gillispie has been fired from a very reliable source of UK info. Part of what really got things into motion is he wouldn't sign his contract last Friday in a meeting with the AD/President.

Peyton Siva is so sick. If UW wouldn't have signed Gaddy, I would be pissed he left WA. Louisville recruits the area well though, getting T-Will from WA and now Siva.

KU could be scary next year as well if Collins and Aldrich come back and we get Lance(which is what the hottest rumor is now)

PG - Taylor
SG - Collins
SF - Stephenson
PF - Marcus Morris
C - Aldrich

with Elijah Johnson, Thomas Robinson also coming in and more expierence for Markieff, Brady and Tyrel look out

Wow that would be brutal. Iowa was by no means a terrible team this year and all of those guys are underclassmen, any specific idea as to why they all want out?

Im very excited for Michigan next year, honestly next season is when we were suppose to do what we did this year. I just hope Manny Harris doesnt be foolish and declare early, he is a 2nd round prospect at this point.

As long as he stays we return everyone except our 2 former walk on PG's. But I fully expect Grady to continue to improve and Darius Morris to get a lot of PT as Fr at the point. Matt Vogrich is going to fit right in as he is a perfect fit in Belein's system, another big time perimeter shooter with the size to get his shot up.

I think Manny and DeShawn both said they are returning. Obviously, nothing is for sure at this point but since he isn't a first rounder, I'll believe that he's coming back.

Rumors flying that Billy Donovan could be named the new coach at UK within the next 2 or 3 days. Apparently Calipari would accept however the head of our compliance office was at UMASS when Cal was there and is not a big fan, she also has a lot of pull.

Donovan has a clause in which there is no buyout if he accepts a job from March 1 to April 1, so if we go for him it will be shortly. Also, Anthony Grant has 5 days to decide on taking the Alabama job or not, if Donovan leaves UF then Grant is a lock to go there and Donovan would want him to take over. It's just one big mess.

NC State may go after Gillispie. His office is already cleaned out.

To an extent, all 4 it is because of role on the team/playing time/type of offense. Jermaine Davis specifically said that he was confused about his role and future playing time, as well as saying that the offense is too slow. Kelly was rumored earlier in the year to have been unhappy with his role and playing time, but that changed at the end of the year. However, his mother died in the past year and he has wanted to move close to home to be with his family, but didn't have enough time before this season. So, transferring to Indiana State would make sense. Palmer and Peterson are both rumored to be unhappy about future playing time and roles on the team.

We also just had a 2010 commit reopen his recruitment, as well as rumors that other recruits may as well.

Again I ask, why are Kentucky fans so sure (after being so sure and so wrong less than a year ago) that Donovan is going to take the job? What has drastically changed about the situation to change his mind?

Two years ago several have said he had reached an agreement to come here but bailed to go for the NBA. Many in the know have all agreed to the fact that there was a deal for him to come here which he backed out on. As he showed with Orlando, he has the ability to back out of a decision. Not to mention he's grown to be upset with the fans lack of interest lately. Calipari is also an option but I'm not sure the administration would be interested given his 'shadiness'. It doesn't bother me personally, given his reputation and UK's resources he wouldn't have to cheat to hand pick recruits.

I'd say Gillispie ends up at NC State or Texas Tech. Could go to 'Bama or Georgia, that would suck.
