My biggest pet peeve in sports: basketball players having 0 concept of time.

It takes exponentially longer for one to advance the ball up the court via dribble than it does via the pass.

At EVERY level, I see players act as if 3 seconds is .3 seconds. A second is a long time. A pass takes LESS than a second.

Even when people can afford to dribble - NBA a lot too - they'll end up hoisting a shot with 1.2 seconds left rather than getting closer for a better look.

There was someone wide open on the right side down the court for a normal range three point attempt.

I understand that Hayward is the star and should in most cases take the final shot, but I think the 26-foot three pointer by the #4 option is better than the half court shot by the star.

The officiating was far from perfect (Zoubek mauling people all night) but I dont think its enough to blame it for a loss.

Given the circumstances, that was a good shot for Butler. Pretty sure he got it off with under a second left. You can't pass it in that spot.

I don't dislike Duke like most people but it's not like I wanted to see them win. I just dislike how casual a majority of their 'fans' are, the way things were laid out for them this year with the seeding and the excess love the media gives them. Not anything the team can control, they took care of business given how things were laid out.

Duke will be pretty solid next year given what they have coming in and what I expect to come back. Repeating is next to impossible anymore but I actually might like their team more next year than this year.
