Rutgets has improved quite a bit, no doubt. I'll be interested to see how they do once the Big East conference games start.

That's just better coaching. Next year you'll have better players too.

Yeah this year is just about setting up next year and the future. We'll sneak some Big East games out but I don't expect many more wins. Kadeem Jack is going to start to practice with us also and some fans are holding out hope that he actually gets into games this year. Other think it would be a mistake to burn his redshirt on a team that isn't going any where.

Given Jack's pretty raw right now and you're talking about getting him in just a few games in a rebuilding year, I'd definitely agree with the second group. He'll give you a lot more in a full fourth year than in a few games this year. Great to get experience practicing with the team now though, and I agree with your outlook about this year.

I'm greedy and want to se Jack play this year but in the end it's much better for him to sit. Like you said he's pretty raw and just the practice time should help him out. He would improve the team now but it would just be a waste. Let the 7 come in next year and hopefully start a new era of Rutgers basketball.

Ricardo Ledo to Providence...bit of a surprise, didn't think he'd end it this early and he had a ton of huge schools after him. I like it though, hopefully he'll amplify another Big East program to make the conference even stronger.

yeah I'm actually SUPER excited about the future of Rutgers basketball. Jersey has SO much basketball talent and Mike Rice is the man. I don't expect much this year in big east play, but I think we can stay competitive. I was supposed to go the game against UNC at the garden tomorrow but now i'm not because of the stupid blizzard!
but yea, it's cool to be excited about college hoops again

Tubby does not know how to score in the Big 10, but his defenses are sure fun to watch. Al Nolen is absolutely as good as they come as a defender.

Wisconsin's best three players are from Minnesota. **** them. I am so glad Tubby has kept our talent at home the last two years.

Yeah.. Taylor and/or Leuer would have made this team so much better.

If we had Taylor and Leuer, we would be title contenders.

Well, the ref called the fourth foul in that twenty second sequence. One of the first 3 would have been nice too.

We are absolutely murdering them on the boards. Also Al Nolen is the worst finishing PG I've ever seen.

Well the Gophers can't shoot worth ****. Out rebounded Wisconsin by like 20 and still lost. We can't hit free throws worth ****. We can't shoot 3's. Wisconsin shot lights out.

Losing in the Kohl Center is nothing to hang your head about, we gave them a good battle and we'll be in the Big 10 race until the end of the year. Well maybe not to win it but in the 3-4 range.

Well, lost to Illinois by 10 and they shot 67% from the field, including 72% from 3.
Moral victory? Moral victory.
Also, shooting 50% from the charity stripe won't win you many games. We're shooting 65% from the line on the year...is that good?

Duke fans are truly fortunate to have such an iconic individual at the helm for so many years. Ridiculous what he has done.

Best basketball coach in the game today, regardless of division....that includes Phil Jackson.
