I could absolutely see Marquette knocking off UNC.
I think the Florida - BYU game is going to be very good. I could see either of those teams going to the Final Four by beating Wisconsin.

I don't like their chances.
They started off unconscious against Pitt and Mack hit some INSANE shots down the stretch. If that game was five minutes longer, Pitt would have won easily. They escaped more than won. Credit excellent execution and great shooting, but I wouldn't count on Mack going for 30 again.
Wisconsin on the other hand beat a very athletic and physical team with Jordan Taylor shooting terribly. If he shoots better, I could see a double-digit win for the Badgers. They can shoot, defend, and they're tougher than given credit for.
Anything can happen, but I like Wisconsin to derail the Butler train fairly easily.

I find it funny that Kansas is so dominating and Josh Selby, who was supposed to be amazing, hasn't been much of a factor at all.

I've never been a huge Selby fan, he's just going to be an average combo guard.

FSU was my one of my big upset picks. Got them in the elite 8. Also had Richmond in the Sweet 16.
On the other hand I missed every single Sweet 16 team in the Southeast region. 6 of my elite 8 teams are still alive though.

His blatant BMore accent made him seem to me like an awesome character from The Wire so naturally I had high hopes for him.

FSU was just built to beat them. That's why I had FSU beating them in my bracket, too strong defensively. Likely they will shut down VCU although VCU has some inside game. They will only get in trouble if VCU scores at a decent rate as FSU struggles at times to get consistent scoring.

That's cool. I had A&M beating Notre Dame, so it all works out for me.

If I would have known VCU's coach was named Shaka Smart, I would have picked them for at least one game.

I don't see FSU shooting that well from 3 again though... VCU also has the advantage at point guard... the two teams are similar though - I think FSU has more talent overall...
I think VCU would've preferred to play Notre Dame honestly - for the same reasons FSU was able to stifle them...

And how Georgia St. beat VCU, and how UIC beat Illinois, and how Jacksonville beat Florida. We could go on forever with regular season match-ups.
Keep in mind the Kansas hasn't blown out any team in the tourney yet. Ohio State is the only team to blow out both of their opponents. (with the exception of VCU)

Kansas won by 19 and 14...
And blowing out a team really means nothing.

I read somewhere that eventual National Champions are like 26-4 against the spread in the tourney since 2006... interesting trend that obviously applies to Ohio State...

Man. All these "Upsets" are messing up my bracket big time. My final four teams are still alive, at least. I only get to watch big east & prime time games regular season, because of where I live.

Both were close games until their opponents gave up at the end.
And it doesn't exactly mean that they're better than any other team, but it's still a good indicator. "No. 1 seeds winning their first game by 35+ points make the Final Four 62% of the time. Those which don't, just 37%." - @fivethirtyeight

Wisconsin is one of those teams that is a tough matchup for anyone due to their defensive prowess and mistake-free style of play. That said, teams have shown this year that they can have defensive lapses at the 3-point line while shooting a poor percentage theirselves and that's really the key to beating the Badgers; beat them in the 3-point game.
They're also susceptible to super-athletic teams but the 3 pointer is going to be what Butler has to rely on.

If I get half of these, I'll be impressed (with myself).

Well, Connecticut crushed Bucknell and Utah State lost in the 1st round. Gonzaga at least got the first win, but yay for Florida State.
All of my final four teams still hold, however. Ohio State and Kansas look real good. I had San Diego State over Duke, but I'm not so sure about that now.
I think it's a tossup between Wisconsin and Florida for the last spot. Not crazy about BYU.

Bruce Pearl is out as UT basketball coach and apparently Shaka Smart is rumored to be the top replacement.
