I believe I said Shaka wouldn't turn Illinois down; I'm surprised he did. He must be waiting for a Duke-esque job to come along, but they don't come along that often.

He can come to Texas. It'd be awesome if Rick Barnes could absorb Shaka's coaching ability, so he can keep recruiting like he does.

We're playing really well right now. Rodney Williams has been incredible lately, like the first round prospect he was hyped to be, also Andre Hollins looks like he's going to be real good as well. If Mbakwe gets a 6th year (and if he even wants it) the Gophers will be better next year.

They won't have Sampson, so there's no way they won't be better, it's just a matter of how much better. They're 7-1 this season without him, and the only loss was to Michigan in OT in the Big Ten tournament.

True, I ******* hated Sampson throughout his entire time here. Eliason is already better than him as a freshman and he doesn't possess a single offensive skill. At least he plays like he's 7 feet tall, and not like a scared little 5'11 guard in a 7 footers body.

Btw, I love Hollins. He's been so awesome lately and I don't want to play him next year. If Mbakwe can stay, Minnesota should be really competitive next year.

Who does everyone have tonight? I see Syracuse, Marquette, and Michigan State advancing but I'll go with Cincy pulling off the upset over Ohio State.

might be the homer in me speaking, but I've got Florida over Marquette. Billy is the more experienced tournament coach and has this team on a freaking roll.

also have Cincy over Ohio St. I think one of the higher seeds in that region gets upset as for tomorrow, I have zero upsets.

And that's exactly why I didn't trust Wisconsin at all. Had the final possession with 15 seconds, which is plenty of time for 95% of teams, but no, they take all the time and chuck up a garbage 3.
